Injuries in settler attack in northern Jordan Valley and establishment of settlement outpost in Salfit

A number of Palestinian citizens were injured this evening Thursday in an attack carried out by settlers on Khirbet al Samra in the northern Jordan Valley.

Local sources told the Palestinian Sana News Agency that settlers stormed Khirbet al Samra in the Jordan Valley attacked citizens and fired gunfire at them resulting in a number of them being injured with various wounds.

Also settlers proceeded today Thursday to establish a new settlement outpost near the town s schools and citizens homes northwest of the town of Bruqin west of Salfit.

Local sources said that settlers carried out work to establish a settlement outpost south of the bypass road and about 100 meters away from citizens homes and from Bruqin s two schools.

They pointed out that the establishment of the new outpost poses a direct threat to the town s residents and school students especially as it is close to 13 families living in the area
