Deputy Foreign Minister discusses latest local, regional, & international developments with Russian Ambassador

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, discussed today via video conferencing technology with the Russian Ambassador to Yemen, Yevgeny Kudrov, the latest developments and updates on the local, regional, and international arenas.

The Deputy Foreign Minister affirmed the strength of the historical relations binding the two friendly countries and peoples, and the keenness to advance them towards broader horizons in various fields. He appreciated Russia’s balanced positions regarding the aggression imposed on Yemen and its continuous calls for establishing peace and stability in Yemen. Abu Ras also praised the Russian stance regarding the Palestinian cause, the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, and the American-Israeli aggression on the Islamic Republic of Iran.

For his part, the Russian Ambassador to Yemen renewed his country’s support for efforts aimed at achieving peace in Yemen and backing humanitarian efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.
