Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns of continued US-Israeli aggression on countries in region

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warned of the continued aggression against Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran by the United States and the Israeli enemy entity, and what this represents as a threat to international peace and security that negatively affects the global economy.

The ministry affirmed in a statement that the aggression of the occupying entity on Gaza has not stopped since the ceasefire was reached on October 10 of last year, and it continues to commit genocide crimes against the Palestinian people on a daily basis, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 900 civilians and the injury of over 2,700 others, in a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the ceasefire agreement.

It renewed the affirmation that Yemen, leadership, government, and people, will remain steadfast in its supportive position for the Palestinian cause as the central cause of the nation, and supportive of the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people until they achieve their freedom, full independence, and establish their independent state on all Palestinian territory with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed astonishment at the continuation of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon and the violation of the ceasefire, the latest of which was targeting the outskirts of the capital Beirut and the cities of Tyre and Nabatieh, considering these aggressions a dangerous escalation and a flagrant violation of Lebanese sovereignty and all international norms, covenants, and laws.

The statement pointed out that the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon since March 2 last year has resulted in the martyrdom of more than 3,300 Lebanese and the injury of over 10,000 others.

It noted that the continued Zionist aggression and escalation confirms to the authorities in Lebanon that their bet on negotiations with the Israeli enemy entity is a losing bet, and that the option of resistance is the only way that will extract usurped Lebanese rights from the clutches of the usurping occupier.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed affirmation of the Yemeni Republic’s steadfast and supportive position for the Lebanese people and their valiant resistance in the face of the ongoing barbaric Zionist aggression against Lebanon and its brotherly people.

It condemned the continuation of the American aggression on the Islamic Republic of Iran and the resulting effects on stability in the region and the global economy.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement denounced the threats recently made by the criminal “Trump” against the Sultanate of Oman, pointing out that these threats affirm the aggressive approach and the policy of arrogance and blackmail that the United States practices in its dealings with other countries.

The ministry also renewed affirmation of Yemen’s solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, affirming its legitimate right to self-defense and to respond to the aggression, a right guaranteed by all international norms, covenants, and laws.
