Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulwahid Abu Ras said on Thursday that recent threats issued by Israeli occupation officials against Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi would not affect his standing and would ultimately have consequences for the occupation itself.
In a statement, Abu Ras warned also Israeli entity against any reckless action against Yemen, saying such a move would draw the country into a prolonged confrontation.
He stated that the continued bloodshed in Gaza and the Palestinian territories would contribute to the eventual downfall of the occupation.
Abu Ras added that the Yemeni people commemorate the victory of “blood over the sword,” describing it as a symbol of steadfastness and resistance.
He said Yemen remains committed to its support for the Palestinian cause and opposition to the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza.
The deputy foreign minister reaffirmed that the Yemeni people’s commitment to this position and their determination to continue supporting the Palestinian cause.
