Israeli occupation forces opened machine-gun fire on the outskirts of Maariya village in the Yarmouk Basin area of western Daraa, southern Syria, on Thursday.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said no casualties or damage were immediately reported. Earlier in the day, Israeli forces also shelled farmland near Jamla village with heavy artillery, while reconnaissance aircraft flew over the area.
The Observatory said Israeli forces have carried out 44 attacks on Syrian territory since the start of the year, including 2 airstrikes and 42 ground attacks, killing 5 people and damaging about 13 military-related sites
