Iranian Army claims strike on US Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain

The Iranian Army said Thursday that it carried out a drone attack targeting US military facilities at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain as part of the 26th phase of its “Thunderbolt” operation.

In a statement carried by Tasnim, the army said the strike targeted power generators, navigation systems, administrative buildings, and support facilities, describing it as retaliation for the death of Iranian Air Force Brigadier General Pilot Majid Kazemi.

The statement claimed recent attacks on US bases in the region caused major damage to equipment and military positions. It also described Sheikh Isa Air Base as a key US facility hosting reconnaissance aircraft and maintenance infrastructure.
