Hodeidah Authorities Warn Western Coast Will Become a Battlefield If Saudi Escalation Continues

Hodeidah’s local authorities and General Mobilization issued a statement on Sunday praising Yemeni Armed Forces operations targeting Saudi enemy troop concentrations and weapons depots in Mokha, while warning that any further escalation would face a strong response.

The statement affirmed that Yemen has the right to confront and thwart Saudi enemy plans and those of its backers, stressing that confronting the aggression, ending the blockade and securing Yemen’s rights are a collective responsibility requiring national unity.
It considered the strikes a response to Saudi crimes against the Yemeni people and an escalation under the blockade -for- blockade and escalation-for-escalation equation.
The authorities also called on recruits from Hodeidah and other provinces to leave Saudi enemy camps and return to their areas and villages, warning against being drawn into battles serving Saudi hostile plans against Yemen.
Hodeidah’s local authorities and General Mobilization reaffirmed their support for the Yemeni Armed Forces against Saudi military positions and troop concentrations, affirming that this is a part of the broader struggle to defend Yemen’s sovereignty and security.
They also declared their readiness to confront any further escalation and continue mobilization efforts, warning that the western coast would become a graveyard for the aggressors and a battlefield that consumes their forces and equipment.
Saudi Arabia is using the coast to prepare for renewed military operations. Sana’a warned that any escalation there would face a broader response. The latest statement follows Yemeni missile and drone strikes on Saudi troop concentrations and weapons depots in Mokha.
