Israeli occupation seizes 2,224 dunums of land in Salfit

Israeli occupation authorities issued a military order to seize 2,224 dunums of land belonging to Marda village in Salfit Governorate, under the pretext of “military purposes.”

The Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission said the targeted land lies along Route 505, north of the “Ariel” settlement, and is reportedly intended for a tower or communications facility.

The commission said the move reflects the occupation’s escalating use of military seizure orders to take control of Palestinian land , strengthen control over roads and areas surrounding settlements.
