Ministry of foreign affairs affirms cost of peace today far less than cost of peace in the future

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed on Thursday that the Saudi regime’s foreign policy is driven by arrogance, greed, malice, and subservience.

In a statement, the Ministry explained that the Yemeni people’s inherent nobility, dignity, and generosity compel honorable people to treat them with the same respect, while the ignoble will treat them differently.

The statement pointed out that over the past decades, the Saudi regime has played a fundamental role in creating crises and inflicting suffering on the Yemeni people, culminating in a comprehensive aggression unprecedented in Yemeni history.

It emphasized that the Saudi regime’s negative interventions in Yemen are over and irreversible, and that its failure to acknowledge this reality will lead to the erosion of its rule.

The statement added, “Had the Saudi regime acted with credibility and fairness from the beginning of the de-escalation phase, it would not be facing a blockade, the targeting of its ships and oil facilities, and the collapse of its power structure one by one.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded its statement by emphasizing that the cost of peace today is much less than the cost of peace in the future, and that delay will double the cost for the aggressor.
