Military Media Releases New Footage of Western Coast Operation
Yemeni Military Media released new footage on Tuesday showing additional details of the military operation “Allah Is Stronger in Might and More Severe in Punishment,” which it said resulted in the capture of areas along Yemen’s western coast extending to the Bab Al-Mandab Strait.
The footage showed surveillance, planning and battlefield tactics used by the Yemeni Armed Forces, including strikes on Saudi enemy reinforcements before the operation began using Rujum drones.
It also showed attacks on military vehicles and positions, the capture of camps and equipment, and the surrender and withdrawal of Saudi-backed forces.
The operation covered six districts and more than 27 military camps, including positions in Hays, Al-Khokha, Mokha and Mawza, as well as areas overlooking Bab Al-Mandab and Mokha port.
The footage also showed the seizure of large quantities of weapons, ammunition, military vehicles and equipment, along with the capture of command-and-control facilities and a forward Saudi command post in Mokha.
A military source told Al-Masirah that the operation covered Al-Wazi’iyah, Mawza, Hays, Al-Khokha, Mokha and Dhubab, with Yemeni forces taking control of military camps and strategic positions.
The source said the operation killed or wounded more than 600 Saudi enemy personnel and captured hundreds more, while large quantities of light, medium and heavy weapons were seized.
The footage was released amid renewed fighting on Yemen’s western coast, where the latest military developments have involved Al-Wazi’iyah, Mawza, Hays, Al-Khokha, Mokha and areas near Dhubab and Bab Al-Mandab.
The coastal belt is strategically significant because it stretches along the Red Sea and includes key ports, maritime routes and military positions.
The release comes as Saudi airstrikes and Yemeni military operations have intensified across several fronts, including Taiz, Al-Jawf and Marib.
