Yemeni Scholars Association issues statement in response to slander of Saudi regime’s mufti, so-called Al-Fawzan
The following is its text:
The Association has reviewed the statement of the mufti of the Saudi regime, the so-called Saleh Al-Fawzan, in which he appeared like one gathering firewood at night, hurling accusations at Yemen, the land of faith and wisdom, inciting against it, uttering the great slander and manifest falsehood, and bearing false witness, repeating the lie that the Yemenis are targeting Mecca, may God protect it. This indicates the danger of the scholars of evil and the palace to the nation, who treat fatwa as a job they perform under the directives of the corrupt among kings and princes in exchange for crumbs of the fleeting debris of this world.
We in the Association deeply regret that the situation of such scholars has reached the point where they become mouthpieces for strife and lies, and that the sanctity and inviolability of Mecca become so cheap to them that they drag it into the adventures of their kings and princes, while they are the ones from whom the nation has not heard a voice against Trump’s insult to the Kaaba, and they took no stance against the Saudi regime’s gift of the Kaaba’s covering to the Zionist criminal Epstein, nor against the representation of the Kaaba with a model around which immoral, atheist women who insult the Divine Essence dance, nor were they angered by the repeated insults to the Messenger and the Quran, nor were they angered for the Islamic holy site, the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, while it groans under the yoke of Zionist occupation and near-daily violations, nor did they move a finger before what the Zionists did in Gaza.
We are in an age of wonders, falling masks, and revealed truths, where this mufti claims that the Saudi regime was founded on the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger. Is it from the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger that alcohol is permitted, unveiling spreads, sanctities are violated, and men and women mix dancing in the entertainment authority? Is it from the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger to bring in immoral women and prostitutes with hundreds of millions of dollars to spread corruption in the land of the Two Holy Mosques? Is it from the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger to bring Jews and Christians, the enemies of the Two Holy Mosques, in the form of military bases around Mecca and Medina? Is it from the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger to give Trump, the enemy of Islam and Muslims, trillions of dollars while hundreds of millions of the nation’s people suffer hunger?
Is it from the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger to imprison the scholars who enjoin good and forbid evil against the kings and princes of the Saudi regime?
Is it from the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger to conspire against the Palestinian cause, to be loyal to the Jews and Christians, and to ally with them against the people of the nation?
Is it from the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger to incite fighting against Yemen, the land of faith and wisdom, and to leave the Zionist enemy? For Yemen is not a frontier but a support and reinforcement for Palestine and the nation, as the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said.
O scholars of evil, you accuse Yemen, the land of faith and wisdom, of being a band of evil and a tool of the enemies, and you accuse them of targeting Mecca, of declaring the Companions, may God be pleased with them, disbelievers, and of corruption in creed and method, while you and everyone know that the Saudi regime was created by British colonialism and placed the land of the Two Holy Mosques under the gang of Al Saud. History testifies to what you did to Mecca and its people when you took it over with British support, and you were the first ISIS, and you corrupted many Muslim countries with the Wahhabi creed and declared them disbelievers, spread strife, and were as the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: the horn of Satan.
O scholars of evil, fear God if a speck of faith remains in you, and do not utter the great slander, the manifest falsehood, and false testimony. You should have advised your regime to stop its aggression and lift its siege on Yemen, the land of faith and wisdom, and God has sufficed the believers in fighting, for that is better than appealing to your regime’s East and West for protection and fabricating lies about targeting Mecca to spread strife among Muslims in service of the Zionist and American enemy.
In conclusion, the Association advises the scholars of evil, including the mufti of the Saudi regime, to say the word of truth regarding the abominations of Al Saud if they are truly truthful, to raise their voices against America and Israel if they are truly people of religion, and to repent to God if they fear Him and fear the Day of Reckoning.
