Yemen’s Armed Forces announced seven military operations using ballistic missiles and drones against targets deep inside Saudi Arabia, in response to Saudi aggression. The statement said that the campaign has carried out 3,123 airstrikes since the latest escalation began.
In a statement, military spokesperson Brig. Gen. Yahya Sare’e stressed that the operations targeted King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, Aramco facilities in Yanbu, the Rabigh oil refinery, crude oil pumping stations and the east-west oil pipeline, as well as King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Najran Airport and Khamis Mushait Air Base.
The Armed Forces stated that the first operation targeted King Khalid Airport in two stages, while the second struck Aramco facilities in Yanbu. The third and fourth operations targeted the Rabigh refinery and oil infrastructure, respectively.
The Armed Forces added that the fifth operation targeted King Fahd International Airport, disrupting air traffic, while the sixth and seventh targeted Najran Airport and Khamis Mushait Air Base.
The Armed Forces said that they would continue operations against targets inside Saudi Arabia and Saudi-backed military gatherings until the attacks on Yemen cease and the blockade is lifted, describing the campaign as part of their commitment to defending the country and its people.
The reported operations come amid continued military escalation on several fronts. Yemen’s Armed Forces say their operations target Saudi-backed troop concentrations and military positions as tensions and clashes continue to intensify.
