Abdulsalam: Saudi Regime Escalates Again, Must Bear Full Consequences

Head of Yemen’s National Delegation Mohammed Abdulsalam said that Saudi Arabia has officially resumed its escalation of the war and blockade against Yemen, warning that Riyadh would bear all consequences resulting from that.

In a statement, Abdulsalam stressed that Saudi Arabia had failed in attempts to maintain the war and blockade while controlling developments from behind the scenes, and had now returned to the forefront of direct military action following defeats suffered by its forces.

He stated that the declared escalation has coincided with dozens of attacks on civilians, including Saudi strikes on civilian areas and residential neighborhoods in several Yemeni provinces.

The statement comes amid heightened tensions between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, with Yemeni authorities stressing that Riyadh is escalating military and security activities against Yemen.
