Al-Sa’idi explained in a statement published by the Al-Nujaba Movement’s channel on the Telegram platform, seen by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that societal and political awareness in Iraq prevented the acceptance of the American narrative and foiled media influence attempts aimed at granting the occupation legitimacy to stay or covering up its objectives.
He pointed out that the Iraqi resistance possesses a precisely defined compass that does not deviate toward civil peace, but rather directs itself toward confronting the US occupation and the ISIS threat.
He added that methods of casting doubt and fabricating accusations no longer fool the Iraqi street, considering that the creation of internal crises represents the last card for political and media pressure.
Al-Sa’idi affirmed that the steadfastness of national forces and the resistance in prioritizing the protection of national gains, eradicating terrorism, and repelling the occupation has foiled attempts at “beautification or demonization,” stressing that the awareness of the Iraqi people will remain an obstacle to schemes of sedition and division.
