The Secretary-General of Amnesty International, Agnès Callamard, said that 9,000 Palestinians are being subjected to torture in Israeli prisons amid international indifference and silence.
In a post on the platform “X” , Callamard added today, Saturday, that Amnesty International in Ireland welcomed the return of Global Sumud Flotilla activists who were unlawfully detained by “Israel.”
She further noted that more than 9,000 Palestinians remain in Israeli detention, stressing that the world is largely ignoring the torture and ill-treatment they are subjected to.
