Baghaei: No upcoming negotiations with US

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said on Monday that Iran will not hold any negotiation meetings with the United States in the coming days.

He said Tehran is currently focused on implementing the memorandum of understanding, stressing priority on its execution and achieving Iran’s demands.

Baghaei added that progress is being made on oil-related commitments and the release of frozen Iranian assets, noting that an Iranian technical delegation will visit Doha this week to follow up.

He also stated that Iran has not yet entered final negotiation stages, which depend on full implementation of key articles of the agreement, and confirmed that any US visit to Qatar is unrelated to the Iranian delegation’s mission.
