Change & Construction Government hails historic victory over Saudi regime mercenaries
In a statement, the government congratulated Revolutionary Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the Supreme Political Council, the Yemeni armed forces and the Yemeni people, praising the sacrifices and bravery of military personnel and citizens’ cooperation with the army, security agencies and local authorities.
It offered condolences to the families of those killed and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
The government said measures to restore security, public services and normal living conditions in the liberated areas began immediately after the mercenaries fled, in line with leadership directives to provide relief to affected , displaced people and treat the wounded.
It said relevant authorities had begun restoring supplies , operating health and essential services, including water and electricity, while maintaining security and public order.
The government also assured residents that the presidential amnesty remains in effect for those who lay down their arms and cease following the orders of Saudi-backed forces. It dismissed reports of revenge operations and reprisals as fabricated claims.
It urged residents to cooperate with state institutions and report suspicious activities or information concerning the protection of public funds, lives and property.
The government further said measures were underway to address concerns over replacing the unofficial and counterfeit currency used by the so-called mercenary government with the national currency, assuring residents that their rights and savings would be protected.
It said schools, businesses , industrial and commercial activities would resume once conditions were stabilized, while security forces would remain vigilant against attempts to intimidate, extort or attack public and private property.
The government warned Saudi Arabia that continued attacks on Yemen would bring further consequences, urging it to comply with peace requirements , bear what it called full criminal, historical and legal responsibility for the war against Yemen.
It reaffirmed Yemen’s commitment to the safety of international navigation through the Bab al-Mandab Strait and Gulf of Aden, dismissing Saudi-backed claims about threats to maritime security as false propaganda aimed at creating fear and pressuring the international community against Yemen.
