Entisaf Organization condemns Saudi enemy massacre against civilians in Al-Barh, Taiz

The Entisaf Organization for the Protection of Women’s and Children’s Rights condemned the massacre committed by Saudi enemy aircraft by targeting citizens’ homes in the Al-Barh area of Maqbanah District in Taiz Governorate, which resulted in martyrs and wounded among civilians.

The organization explained in a statement that the shelling targeted the homes of the families of citizen Ibrahim Saeed Mohammed Ahmed Al-Quz and citizen Al-Ra’bi Saeed Mohammed Ahmed Al-Quz, leading, according to an initial toll, to the martyrdom of 12 civilians and the injury of three others with serious wounds, most of them women and children.

The statement affirmed that targeting residential neighborhoods and inhabited homes represents a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights law and constitutes a fully constituted war crime that requires accountability and prosecution.

The organization considered the massacre a crime against humanity that does not lapse by prescription, holding the Saudi enemy legally and criminally responsible and liable for its consequences, affirming that the continued targeting of civilians reflects a dangerous escalation against the most vulnerable groups, foremost among them women and children.

The ntisaf Organization demanded that the United Nations, the Security Council, and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights act urgently to stop the violations against civilians and assume their responsibilities in providing protection for them.

It also called on international human rights organizations and bodies to condemn this massacre and all the crimes committed by the Saudi enemy against innocent civilians, and to work to pursue those responsible and bring them to justice.

The organization affirmed its continuation in documenting the violations and crimes committed against the Yemeni people and conveying the voice of the victims to international human rights and humanitarian fora.
