Foreign Affairs Ministry denounces Lebanese position Toward Iran, Warns of continued aggression on Palestine, Lebanon
The Foreign Affairs Ministry and Expatriates warned of the continuation and escalation of the aggression of the Israeli enemy entity against Palestine and Lebanon, exploiting the developments taking place in the region.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry condemned, in a statement, in the strongest terms the targeting by the Israeli enemy of infrastructure in Lebanon, including bridges.. considering that a flagrant violation of the Charter of the United Nations and international humanitarian law.
It stressed the necessity that the efforts of the Lebanese government be focused on confronting the Israeli enemy instead of directing the compass of hostility toward regional parties as happened today toward Iran, coinciding with the announcement by the so-called Israeli Minister of Defense of the intention to occupy wide areas in southern Lebanon up to the Litani River.
The statement pointed out that the position issued by the Lebanese Foreign Ministry came at a time when the Islamic Republic of Iran is waging the nation’s battle and Hezbollah is waging the battle of liberation, independence and dignity, while it was supposed to support the position of Iran and Hezbollah and work to confront the Israeli occupier and expel it from southern Lebanon.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the repeated attacks carried out by settler gangs against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank, which reflects a dangerous escalation in the policies of repression and aggression toward the Palestinian people.
It also warned of the continuation of the closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque to worshippers.. affirming that this measure is considered a provocation to the feelings of Muslims in various parts of the world, and its continued closure will open the gates of hell upon the Zionist entity and destabilize the security of the entire region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its affirmation of the firm and principled Yemeni position supporting the Palestinian people until they obtain all their legitimate rights, foremost of which is their right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state on all their national territory with al-Quds as its capital.
It expressed the full solidarity of the Republic of Yemen with the brotherly Lebanese people and its valiant resistance.. affirming its legitimate right to defend its land, its people and its sovereignty by all legitimate means.
