Foreign Affairs Ministry praises Omani Foreign Minister’s statements

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates praised the statements made by Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi during his meeting with editors-in-chief of local newspapers, in which he affirmed that the war against the Islamic Republic of Iran is illegitimate.

He emphasized that its true aim is to weaken Iran, reshape the region, advance normalization agendas, prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state, and undermine all supporters of the Iranian project.

In a statement, the Ministry commended the Omani Foreign Minister’s remarks, noting his recognition of a broader plan targeting the region and reiterating Oman’s position against normalization with the Israeli entity, refusal to join the so-called Peace Council, and rejection of any form of support that could contribute to a war against Iran or any other conflict.

The Ministry praised Oman’s responsible and balanced stance, which reflects the Sultanate’s approach of building bridges of dialogue and supporting peaceful solutions to conflicts. It highlighted that this courageous position represents reason and wisdom, provides an accurate reading of current realities, and correctly assesses the situation.

The statement called on Arab and Islamic countries to follow Oman’s example by adopting responsible and balanced positions, recognizing the plots targeting the entire nation, standing alongside Iran in its struggle that represents the broader Islamic community against US-Israeli tyranny , global Zionism, and avoiding involvement in any war against Iran.

The Ministry also expressed Yemen’s appreciation for Oman’s constructive role in the Yemeni issue, which is highly valued by the Yemeni people and reflects the fraternal , historic relations between the two countries and their peoples.
