Leader of revolution affirms Yemen’s religious, principled, moral commitment to supporting Palestinian people, holy sites
In his speech this evening on the occasion of International al-Quds Day, the Leader said, “On International al-Quds Day, we affirm that the Palestinian cause is the central issue for the nation. We also reaffirm our religious, principled, and moral commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and holy sites, foremost among them al-Aqsa Mosque.”
He emphasized the religious stance of hostility towards the Zionist enemy and its aggressive plans against the Islamic nation, as well as its diabolical attempts to mislead and corrupt humanity.
Sayyed al-Houthi reiterated Yemen’s support for the Muslim Iranian people and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and its readiness for all developments in this battle, considering the aggression against Iran to be a war against Islam and Muslims.
He said, “Regarding our position on Yemen, we have emphasized from the outset that we consider the American-Israeli aggression targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran to be an attack on the entire region. We consider ourselves obligated to stand with the Islamic Republic of Iran against the enemies of Islam and Muslims, and against the enemies of the nation.”
The Leader of the Revolution pointed out that the Israeli aggression in Palestine is a continuous aggression that never ceases, not for a single day, violating the sanctity of al-Aqsa Mosque and attacking the Palestinian people.
He considered International al-Quds Day, on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, an occasion of great importance, reminding the Islamic nation of its sacred and religious responsibility towards the major issue of our time.
Sayyed al-Houthi explained that al-Quds Day reminds the nation of its responsibility to confront the Zionist-Jewish threat that has occupied Palestine, al-Quds, and other Arab lands. It is also an occasion to rouse the nation to fulfill its sacred duties to protect itself from the Zionist-Jewish threat.
He emphasized that the Zionist-Jewish threat seeks to destroy al-Aqsa Mosque and establish a “Greater Israel” by occupying and completely controlling the countries of the region. He pointed out that this Zionist-Jewish threat targets Islam, Muslims, and Islamic holy sites.
Sayyed al-Houthi explained that this occasion keeps the issue alive in fthe conscience of the nation, in contrast to the efforts of the enemies of Islam and their agents to obscure the issue and remove it from the nation’s concerns.
He said, “This occasion was declared and called for by Imam Khomeini, may Allah have mercy on him, as part of the early adoption of the Palestinian cause and the Islamic stance against the Zionist enemy.”
Sayyed affirmed that the Islamic Revolution in Iran adopted the Palestinian cause early on and proved its credibility in remaining steadfast in its position.
The Leader of the Revolution emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran has demonstrated its credibility regarding the Palestinian cause through all forms of support, adding, “A sincere stance towards the Palestinian cause can only be achieved by the free forces of the nation who do not submit to the dictates of the enemies of Islam.”
He pointed out that genuine support for the Palestinian cause is a criterion for protection from foreign domination and subjugation, and that events throughout the decades, up to the present moment, have proven who is sincere and who is deceitful regarding the Palestinian cause.
Sayyed al-Houthi said, “Events have revealed the truth to the people regarding all the campaigns of doubt waged by Zionist mouthpieces against the sincere stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the free people of the nation.” He explained that the Zionist mouthpieces’ campaigns have always aimed to prevent the nation from responding to and positively engaging with this stance.
He added, “The Zionist mouthpieces are also trying to discourage the nation from taking a stand and to lead to the loss of the Palestinian cause.” He considered Imam Khomeini’s choice of the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan for International al-Quds Day a wise choice with significant implications.
The leader continued, “The timing of Quds Day serves to remind the nation that this stance is a religious one, within the framework of faith-based, moral, and jihadist obligations. It is important for us to fully understand that the Palestinian cause concerns us all as Muslims by virtue of our belonging to Islam.”
He also emphasized that the Muslim world has a religious and moral responsibility to defend the Palestinian people, who are an integral part of it, noting that the Islamic holy sites in Palestine, foremost among them al-Aqsa Mosque, necessitate that the Muslim world take a stand against the Zionist threat.
The leader pointed out that “the Zionist threat is a danger to the entire Muslim world, in addition to the immense injustice it perpetrates against the Palestinian people,” explaining that the Zionist project seeks to occupy the entire region and that the Zionist enemy is a sworn enemy of the entire Muslim world.
Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi stated that the Zionist enemy’s criminal and diabolical project targets all the peoples of the region, stressing that the Zionist enemy seeks to occupy and control the region to make it a base for extending its global influence.
He noted that Zionism has attracted the Western world, particularly America, to the point that it has become a global force in implementing the Zionist plan, indicating that the Zionist enemy is also seeking to gain influence within the Arab and Muslim world.
Sayyed al-Houthi stated that Imam Khomeini’s call to the Islamic nation to commemorate International al-Quds Day was a call for a cause that concerns the entire Muslim world, not just Iran. He emphasized that the Arabs themselves are in greater need of commemorating and benefiting from International Quds Day because they are the primary target of the threat.
He said, “We are at a stage where the enemy’s true ambitions toward the region and its plans for it have become clearer, more exposed, and more explicit than ever.” He explained that the Zionist goals are being discussed by the enemies in official statements regarding their plan to establish “Greater Israel” and “change the Middle East.”
He added, “Not a day goes by without the enemies talking about changing the Middle East and the aggressive American actions against our Islamic nation, in which the Zionist Israeli enemy is complicit in all its crimes.”
The Leader stressed the necessity for everyone to understand that the American position is not merely a political one; it is a Zionist position. The West, and America in particular, believes that Christ will return after the Jews establish “Greater Israel,” within which they will be able to control the world.
He explained that “religious beliefs serve the Zionists’ material and political ambitions and great desires. The Western psyche, distorted by Jewish and Christian leanings, has turned towards greed and corruption within the framework of the dream of controlling the entire world.”
Sayyed al-Houthi considered the elimination and removal of Muslims a pivotal point for the Zionists in achieving their ambitions. He noted that there is a blindness among Arabs and Muslims in assessing the enemy’s position, and therefore they deal with the Americans as if they hold a tactical political stance that is subject to change.
The leader of the revolution pointed out that the Arabs had become attached to the British, whose initial mission was to facilitate the establishment of a Zionist Jewish presence in Palestine. They turned to the British to stop the Zionist threat, which was itself part of the Zionist movement.
He noted that the Arabs’ dealings with the British were foolish, as the British had effectively lulled them into inaction at the outset of the Zionist threat. The British succeeded in keeping the Arabs in a state of paralysis, preventing them from taking a serious and sincere stance against the Zionist threat in its early stages.
He said, “When America became the standard-bearer of Zionism, the Arabs turned to it completely, following the same path they had taken with Britain. America is working tirelessly, day and night, providing all support and resources to implement the Zionist plan and achieve its grand objectives of dominating the region.”
The leader expressed regret that the Arabs insist on treating the American position as if it were neutral, impartial, and respectful of the nation and its rights. This has led the Arabs, in recent times, to call America a sponsor of peace—a strange act, a clear delusion, and a profound act of folly.
He added, “The Americans are comfortable with the stupidity of the Arabs, as well as the Israelis, because they have succeeded in pacifying the nation and achieving continuous successes for the Israeli enemy in building its reality to become more powerful.”
The leader emphasized that the Americans are continuing to subdue the nation through a relentless, corrupting, and misleading war that only increases the nation’s confusion, loss, and stupidity.
Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi stated that this diabolical war targets the nation’s values and morals, further subjugating it and making it vulnerable to complete annihilation and collapse in the face of the Zionist threat.
The leader pointed out that some Arabs have gone so far as to declare normalization with the enemy, which means surrendering to its dominance over the region.
He said, “We realize that what the nation needs most from the outset is a correct understanding of the issue in its true nature and its position with the enemies. It is imperative to return to the Holy Quran after the Arabs have tried all the approaches that have brought the nation no benefit.”
Sayyed al-Houthi cited the Holy Quran, which devotes considerable space to discussing the enemies of Muslims, particularly the primary enemies, those most hostile and dangerous to the nation. He explained that the Quran focuses on the same issue concerning Jerusalem and its pivotal role in the nature of the conflict with the Israeli enemy.
He pointed out that the Holy Quran presents Al-Aqsa Mosque as a prominent and crucial symbol in the nature of the conflict with the Israeli enemy. The Quran also addresses Israeli arrogance and corruption on Earth, while simultaneously predicting its inevitable demise and providing a precise assessment of the enemies.
He added, “When you examine other nations, you will indeed find the Quranic truth that the most hostile are the Jews.” He then asked, “Why do so many within the nation insist on turning a blind eye to the reality of the Jews and promote the idea that they can become friends? All elements of evil are embodied in the Jews in the worst way imaginable.”
The leader clarified that the Jews are corrupting elements who seek to corrupt every sphere and undermine human societies, but their primary target is the Islamic nation, which they aim to eliminate.
He continued, “Allah has enabled them to inflict humiliation upon the nation at every time and place. This humiliation of the nation is a very serious situation that requires the nation to seriously reconsider its reality and correct it. The nation must return to correcting its reality through sincere repentance so that it does not remain in a state of accountability.”
The leader emphasized that the Holy Quran has settled the matter of choices to protect the nation from embarking on a failed experiment in a very serious matter. He pointed out that the option of allegiance to the Jews, America, and Israel is adopted by many regimes and governments, and many peoples follow suit, and this is a false choice.
He stated that the enemies will crush even those who were friendly, peaceful, and cooperative with them in the stage when they no longer need them. He affirmed that the options of treaties, agreements, peace, coexistence, and half-measures are false choices, and the correct choice is allegiance to Allah.
The Leader of the Revolution stressed that broad action in accordance with Allah’s guidance is the option that will result in victory, and the prospects and results of this struggle will inevitably lead to the demise of the enemies.
He said, “Whenever the Zionist Jews return to their arrogance, aggression, and corruption on earth, Allah will again unleash His power to bring them down. The nation must turn to Allah, act in accordance with His teachings, trust in His promise and victory, and acquire the means of strength and triumph.”
Sayyed al-Houthi pointed out that the nature of the conflict with the enemies is not merely a military one. They are working extensively to mislead the nation on all levels. He emphasized that the arena of conflict with the enemies is a heated one, and it is the nation’s duty to engage in every field as a field of jihad and confrontation with the Jews.
He spoke about the media field, where those active in media must act as mujahideen in the path of Allah, in one of the fields of jihad, confronting all Zionist Jewish media attacks.
He added, “One of the strategies employed by the Zionist Jews is to mislead others and then manipulate them as tools, as this shortens their path and helps them achieve their objectives.” He pointed out that, militarily speaking, the Israeli enemy, instead of engaging in direct combat in every country, can utilize numerous proxies.
Mr. Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi emphasized that the enemies are actively targeting values, spreading corruption in all its forms, dismantling the family unit, disseminating drugs and moral decay, and attempting to spread immorality in societies at the worst possible level, aiming to destroy the values of chastity and the noble morals of Islam.
He continued, “The nation’s efforts must be directed towards confronting the enemies in all fields. We are witnessing a global awakening regarding the Zionist agenda, even in America.”
Sayyed al-Houthi addressed the major scandal involving the Jeffrey Epstein documents, which he described as part of a series of scandals perpetrated by the enemies. He indicated that there are laboratories in America belonging to Jews and Zionists that produce bacteria and destructive viruses that spread epidemics and diseases.
He stated that Zionist Jews target societies in every aspect, and the health sector is one of the most dangerous and crucial arenas in the confrontation with them. He emphasized the necessity for the nation to rise up in all fields, acting with the awareness that every arena has become a battleground with the enemy.
Sayyed al-Houthi said, “It is regrettable that the state of stagnation persists among Arab nations, despite an awakening that has begun even in Western societies. In the reality of Muslims, there is a crisis of faith in Allah, which has affected their relationship with Allah, the Holy Quran, and the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).”
He pointed out that Muslims have been deprived of the guidance of the Holy Quran, and thus have fallen prey to the deceptions of the Jews to a very alarming degree. During the month of Ramadan and fasting, it is crucial for Muslims to return to Allah and strengthen their faith in Him, His Book, and His Messenger.
The Leader reiterated that the enemies are clearly attempting to impose a system of permissiveness and open warfare, clarifying that the blame falls solely on those who confront the enemies, as is happening in Lebanon.
He said, “For 15 months, the Israeli aggression against Lebanon has not ceased, and then when Hezbollah responded at this stage, the Lebanese government blamed it.” He emphasized that the enemy seeks to impose a code of impunity, expecting the people of the nation in every country to accept it, while blaming those who refuse.
The leader added, “The Americans and Israelis want it to be accepted in our region that they can strike whomever they want, whenever they want. The nation cannot accept this code of impunity and open warfare because it is a violation of human dignity and poses an existential threat to the nation.”
He stated that accepting this code of impunity is accepting tyranny, accepting aggression, and abandoning legitimate rights and the values and principles recognized by the entire world.
The Leader of the Revolution also addressed the American-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, deeming it completely unjustified, oppressive, criminal, and barbaric.
He said, “The declared goal of the American and Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic is to ‘change the Middle East’ and remove Iran as an Islamic power with significant influence in protecting the nation.” He emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran represents a major obstacle to the Israeli enemy’s control over the region and the implementation of the Zionist-Jewish conspiracy to establish what they call “Greater Israel.”
The leader explained that the goal of the American-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic is to eliminate an obstacle to their goal of occupying the region, controlling its people, and subjugating them. He stressed that the correct stance is for the nation to stand against the brutal aggression targeting the Muslim Iranian people and the region and its people. He described the Iranian steadfastness as magnificent and the Iranian response as strong, effective, and devastating to the enemies.
Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi also affirmed that the Iranian response destroyed and crippled American bases in the region and also inflicted significant damage on the Israeli enemy, and that the response continues.
He said, “The model of steadfastness, resilience, effective response, and strong cohesion has been seen before in the great steadfastness of the resistance fighters in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq. This model of steadfastness and resilience is also found in the Islamic Republic, with its strength and capabilities. It is a model for the entire region—a successful and positive model.”
He added, “The nation must strive to be at the level of strength Iran possesses in confronting the Israeli and American enemy. Had the Islamic Republic been targeted with such tyranny, criminality, and aggression, some countries in the region would have collapsed in a matter of days or even hours.”
The leader continued, “This model should draw the nation’s attention to the fact that it is a correct and positive model that honors this nation. It is an honor for the nation that its countries confront American and Israeli aggression with this level of steadfastness, strength, and effectiveness.”
He pointed out that the negative stance of many regimes has led them to attempt to conceal the presence of American bases on their soil and to claim responsibility for any retaliatory actions against them. Some even want to protect American bases from their countries, allowing them to launch attacks without any response from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Leader reiterated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has the right to reject any violation of its sovereignty, given that these bases in those countries are used to kill and destroy in Iran.
He stated, “It is deeply regrettable that some regimes and governments are providing cover for American bases to launch attacks from their own countries and are attempting to protect them,” emphasizing that the Americans and Israelis are trying to embroil these regimes in direct aggression against Iran.
Sayyed al-Houthi added, “We clearly see the evident failure of the American and Israeli enemies to achieve their objectives in the Islamic Republic of Iran, while simultaneously witnessing the strong unity of the Islamic Republic and the Muslim Iranian people.”
He continued, “We see the enemies now in a clear predicament, suffering heavy losses and unable to achieve their goals. They are in a state of clear failure, which necessitates that some regimes that persist in their negative stance toward Iran reconsider their positions.”
He continued, saying, “Everyone in the region understands that if the enemies succeed in their aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, they will exploit this to the fullest extent to subjugate the rest of the region’s peoples.”
The Leader of the Revolution also reiterated that Hezbollah has the legitimate right to confront Israeli aggression against Lebanon, adding, “Instead of blaming Hezbollah, its position should be supported.”
He said, “What the mujahideen Islamic factions are doing in Iraq is a legitimate right, because the Americans are completely violating Iraq’s sovereignty, targeting the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq, and targeting the Iraqi people.” He clarified that the American presence in Iraq remains one of occupation, violation of sovereignty, and infringement upon it.
He praised the actions of the mujahideen Islamic factions in Iraq, considering it a legitimate right, and emphasized that the positions of the Islamic factions in Iraq are commendable and deserving of praise.
He noted the convening of the Fourth International Conference, “Palestine: The Central Issue of the Nation,” in the capital, Sana’a, which he considered a testament to the significant attention given to the Palestinian cause in Yemen. He viewed its being held in Sana’a for the fourth consecutive year as a model for other Islamic countries to learn from.
Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi expressed his gratitude to the organizers and participants of the Fourth International Conference, “Palestine: The Central Issue of the Nation,” pointing out that the dear Yemeni people are among the most active in commemorating International Quds Day, stemming from their faith and spirit of resistance.
He called upon the people of Yemen to come out tomorrow to commemorate International Quds Day in a massive and honorable turnout, adding, “Our dear people will commemorate Quds Day tomorrow in a grand, honorable, and massive way.”
The leader concluded his speech by saying, “I call upon our dear people to come out tomorrow, Allah willing, to commemorate International Quds Day in a massive and honorable turnout. This million-strong turnout is part of our struggle and part of the great acts of devotion through which we draw closer to Allah during these blessed days.”
