Foreign Ministry: perpetrator of today’s massacre in Saada is Same one who previously declared It military target
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Sunday affirmed that the Saudi enemy continues to commit crimes against civilians in Yemen on a daily basis, the latest of which was its targeting today of a citizen’s home in the Al-Tawilah area of Sahar District, resulting in the martyrdom of 10 people and the injury of 23 others, most of them women and children, according to preliminary figures.
In a statement issued by the Ministry, it reminded the international community that the perpetrator of today’s massacre in Saada is the same one who declared the entire city of Saada a military target in May 2015.
It pointed out that if even one of the crimes committed by the Saudi enemy against civilians in Yemen had been perpetrated anywhere else in the world, there would have been an enormous outcry, and international circles would have been filled with condemnation and denunciation.
The statement explained that Saudi money had bought the international community’s silence, as it chose political and economic interests at the expense of humanitarian principles and international law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that these heinous crimes would not deter Yemen from securing its legitimate rights and forcing the Saudi enemy to end its brutal aggression and unjust blockade imposed on it for 12 years.
