Gaza Civil Defense: About 1,000 killed since ceasefire began

The Civil Defense spokesperson in Gaza, Mahmoud Basal, said around 1,000 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, despite its announcement.

He said the victims include 230 children and 100 women, adding that Israeli forces continue attacks and violations of the truce.

Basal urged international action to stop the ongoing violence in Gaza.
