Government spokesperson Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaiti said on Friday that the criminal Saudi enemy’s repeated fabrication of grave allegations against the Yemeni people reflects its bankruptcy, helplessness and failure, as well as its desperate attempts to drag Islamic regimes and governments into participating in its aggression against Yemen and legitimizing its crimes against Yemeni women and children.
In a statement, Dr. Al-Bukhaiti explained that the criminal Saudi enemy’s repeated claim that Yemen attempted to target the holy sites in Mecca and Medina confirms the existence of premeditated intentions by the Saudi enemy and its Zionist partner to target Islamic holy sites and fabricate accusations against the Muslim, steadfast and patient Yemeni people.
The statement noted that the repeated recycling of this lie is part of efforts to establish a narrative suggesting that Islamic holy sites could be targeted, in an attempt to undermine their sanctity in the hearts of the people of the Muslim nation in service of the Zionist project.
It held the criminal Saudi regime fully responsible for any damage, attack or conspiracy targeting the holy sites in Mecca and Medina, stressing that the Saudi regime would bear direct responsibility before the Yemeni people and all Muslims for any harm inflicted on the Al-Masjid al-Haram (The Grand Mosque) or their visitors, warning that this would have catastrophic repercussions for the regime.
The statement expressed surprise that countries, regimes and governments associated with the Arab and Islamic world had adopted the narrative of the criminal Saudi enemy, which he said originated with the Zionists, who openly harbor hostility toward these countries and governments and seek to dominate them as part of the so-called “Greater Israel” project.
The government’s statement pointed out that being drawn into this narrative serves Zionist objectives by involving these regimes in wars within the Muslim nation in order to weaken and dominate it.
