The head of the Public Relations and Information Center at Iran’s Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, Hossein Kermanpour, announced on Wednesday that 260 people have been injured since the start of the new wave of aggressive war launched by the United States against his country.
Iran’s Fars News Agency quoted Kermanpour as saying: “In the new wave of war against Iran, more than 260 people have been injured so far, including 3 women and 6 individuals under the age of 18.”
He added: “Unfortunately, among the martyrs are two women.”
The Iranian official continued: “222 of the wounded have been discharged from hospitals after receiving the necessary treatment,” calling for a speedy recovery for all the injured still in hospitals.
