The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced that it intercepted a Hermes 450-Zik drone and targeted, at various times on Tuesday, two vehicles, a newly established position, and a force of the Israeli enemy army in the occupied south of the country.
In five separate statements, the Resistance detailed these operations, emphasizing that they were carried out in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the Israeli enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and the attacks that targeted southern villages, resulting in civilian martyrs and wounded, as part of Operation Protective Edge.
In statement number 2, it said that at 11:50 AM, Resistance fighters intercepted an Israeli Hermes 450-Zik drone in the skies over the Iqlim al-Tuffah region with a surface-to-air missile, forcing it to retreat.
In statement number 3, it was added that at 12:20 PM, the resistance fighters targeted an Israeli enemy army Namera armored vehicle on the southeastern outskirts of the town of Zawtar al-Sharqiya using the Ababil attack missile, achieving a confirmed hit.
In statement number 4, it was stated that at 12:30 PM, the resistance fighters targeted an Israeli force positioned in a building on Tell al-Sal’a in the town of Qantara using the Ababil attack missile, achieving a confirmed hit.
In statement number 5, the resistance reported that at 12:50 PM, its fighters targeted an Israeli enemy army communications vehicle on Tell al-Sal’a in the town of Qantara using the Ababil attack missile, achieving a confirmed hit.
In its statement, the resistance confirmed that at 1:10 PM, its fighters targeted a newly established Israeli military position in the town of Maroun al-Ras with a rocket barrage.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon continues its military operations in response to the Israeli enemy’s continued violations of agreements, attacks on Lebanese sovereignty, and targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure.
