Nine killed, 28 wounded in airstrike targeting a public housing area in Lebanon

Nine people were killed and 28 others wounded on Tuesday in an airstrike targeting a public housing area in Lebanon, continuing the Zionist violations of the ceasefire understandings.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the death toll from the Israeli aggression that targeted the public housing area a short while ago has risen to nine martyrs, in addition to 28 wounded.

It indicated that ambulance and rescue teams are continuing search and rescue operations and removing rubble to find missing persons.

Since March 2nd, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression against Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian infrastructure, resulting in hundreds of martyrs, thousands of wounded, and the displacement of approximately 1.5 million Lebanese citizens, most of whom are not registered in shelters.

The temporary ceasefire agreement came into effect in mid-April, but the Israeli enemy army commits daily violations of the agreement.
