In five separate statements, reviewed by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Resistance detailed these operations, emphasizing that they were carried out in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the Israeli enemy’s violation of the ceasefire and its attacks on southern villages, which resulted in civilian casualties, as part of Operation Protective Edge.
In statement number 5, it was reported that at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 23, 2026, resistance fighters targeted two Iron Dome batteries at the Ramim (Hounin) barracks with Ababil drones, achieving a confirmed hit.
In statement number 6, it was reported that at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 23, 2026, resistance fighters targeted an Israeli enemy army engineering vehicle in the city of Bint Jbeil with Ababil drones, achieving a confirmed hit.
In statement number 7, it was reported that at 10:15 AM on Saturday, May 23, 2026, resistance fighters targeted an Israeli enemy army technical device at the Jal Al-Alam site with Ababil drones, resulting in its destruction.
In its eighth statement, the Lebanese Resistance reported that at 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 23, 2026, its fighters targeted an Israeli command vehicle at the Jal Al-Alam site using Ababil drones, resulting in its destruction and the burning of two nearby vehicles.
In its ninth statement, the Resistance reported that at 11:15 AM and 11:45 AM on Saturday, May 23, 2026, its fighters targeted two drone jamming devices of the “Drone Dome” type at the newly established site in Nimr Al-Jamal and the Al-Jardah site using Ababil drones.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon continues its military operations in response to the Israeli enemy’s continued violations of agreements, attacks on Lebanese sovereignty, and targeting of civilians and civilian infrastructure.
