The source explained to the Iranian Fars News Agency that the speed of this type of ballistic missile during its dive reaches approximately Mach 9, making it extremely difficult to destroy with expensive systems such as THAAD and Peykan.

The agency added that, according to this source, Iran used a combination of Emad missiles, F and Khyber Shakan were estimated to have been involved in Monday’s attacks.

It is worth noting that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in a statement last night that it had targeted the Ramat David airbase in retaliation for the crime committed by the usurping Zionist entity in southern Lebanon, which resulted in the killing and displacement of large numbers of people from the Tyre, Nabatieh, and southern suburbs of Beirut.
