Noble Prophetic Migration…School of sacrifice & strategy of victory for Ummah

The occasion of the noble Prophetic migration of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, represents a pivotal milestone in the history of the Ummah.

It was not merely a geographical relocation of the Messenger of Allah from Mecca to Medina, but a strategic turning point for humanity and the first cornerstone in establishing and building the Islamic state.

In the current stage the Ummah is going through, amid the arrogance and domination of global powers led by “the United States, Israel, and their allies,” the importance of recalling this great religious occasion is heightened; not merely as historical narration, but as a source of living lessons in confronting present challenges , the aggression, genocidal crimes, unjust blockade faced by the Ummah and oppressed peoples.

Contemplation of the course of the Prophetic migration clearly reveals profound meanings that shaped the Islamic methodology in facing various challenges, foremost among them strategic planning and taking necessary measures. The migration demonstrated that the Messenger of Allah acted according to a precise and well-structured plan based on concealment, selecting a companion, using alternative routes, and distributing roles.

This noble occasion also embodied the meanings of selflessness and sacrifice in their most sublime form, through Imam Ali spending the night in the Prophet’s bed, offering his soul and life as a sacrifice for the noble Prophet, thereby presenting the first and greatest lessons of devotion and sacrifice in confronting the conspiracies of tyrants and oppressors.

The migration of the Prophet (Hijrah) represented an initial step toward cohesion and unity between the emigrants (Muhajirun) and the supporters (Ansar), as the Noble Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, established brotherhood between them. This served as a unique model for eliminating tribal fanaticism and creating a cohesive society capable of enduring hardship and building a firmly established Islamic state.

Today, the conditions of the Ummah closely resemble the stage that preceded the Prophet’s migration, when the forces of polytheism and misguidance in Mecca allied to end the Muhammadan message and eliminate its symbol. This is the same path pursued today by global powers of arrogance in their ongoing attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause and subjugate the peoples of the region, through targeting the countries and components of the Resistance Axis in Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran, relying on economic blockade, military aggression, assassinations, and brutal massacres.

The lessons derived from the commemoration of the Prophet’s migration place the Ummah today before its religious and historical responsibility. Just as the early Muslims refused to accept the injustice of Quraysh and migrated from their houses to build the foundations of strength, this is reflected today in the stance of the Resistance Axis, which rejects submission to American and Zionist domination, holding firmly to its legitimate right to defend its sanctities and confront tyranny by all means.

Likewise, the conditions of economic siege and imposed wars on the peoples of the Axis require reviving the values of altruism, spending, social solidarity, full popular unity around leadership and fighters, while transforming current challenges into promising opportunities for self-sufficiency and the building of independent strength.

Reviving the anniversary of the Prophet’s migration is a renewal of the covenant and loyalty to the Messenger of Allah—peace be upon him and his family—and an affirmation that the nation which learned from the noble Prophet how to transform “persecution and weakness” into a state that shook the thrones of Khosrow and Caesar is today capable, through reliance on Allah and trust in His victory, of breaking the horn of Satan, defeating the arrogance of oppression, and purifying the Islamic holy sites.

The occasion of the Prophet’s migration will remain a comprehensive school of knowledge and struggle, from which the free people of the Ummah derive the meanings and values of patience and sacrifice for the sake of victory and empowerment, and the realization that falsehood, no matter how many tools of destruction and intimidation it possesses, is destined to vanish before the power of faith and movement in the path of Allah.
