Number of martyrs in Israeli genocide in Gaza rises to 72,961

The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rose to 72,961 martyrs and 173,092 wounded since October 7, 2023, on Saturday.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip explained in its daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Strip, which was reviewed by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that hospitals received five martyrs during the past 48 hours, including two new martyrs, one martyr who succumbed to his wounds, and one martyr who was recovered from under the rubble, in addition to 49 injuries.

The ministry noted that since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of Palestinians killed by enemy fire has reached 951, with 2,984 wounded and 782 bodies recovered.

The ministry emphasized that a large number of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, as rescue and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them.
