The Yemeni Parliament affirmed on Saturday its full support and endorsement of the historic and pivotal speech delivered last Thursday by the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
In a statement , the Parliament considered the Leader’s speech an embodiment of the leadership’s courage and exceptional wisdom in confronting the arrogance of the forces of aggression and tyranny. It also outlined the features of sovereignty at this most important and sensitive stage in Yemen’s history, affirming its right to restore its legitimate rights, break the siege, and reject guardianship and foreign interference.
While commending the courageous and responsible stances of the Leader of the Revolution, the Parliament emphasized that his complete alignment with the plight of the Yemeni people and his profound readiness to sacrifice for the nation’s dignity are a source of pride and a restoration of honor for every free Yemeni.
The Parliament, as the legitimate representative of the Yemeni people, reiterated its call to all honorable and free citizens to unite nationally, strengthen cohesion among all political forces and factions, reject internal divisions, and focus their efforts on the external enemy. This is a priority demanded by the current stage to confront the threats facing Yemen and the continued obstruction by the aggression coalition of the Yemeni people’s legitimate rights, foremost among them ending the aggression, lifting the blockade, recovering looted resources, and liberating the occupied governorates.
It called on everyone to be vigilant and cautious, raise awareness to thwart the conspiracies and schemes of the enemies, and prepare to embark on the phase of reclaiming stolen national rights and resources, protecting Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, security, and stability, and standing united alongside the leadership represented by Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the Supreme Political Council, the armed forces, and all state institutions. This unity serves as a shield and deterrent against any aggressor or those who seek to harm Yemen.
The Yemeni Parliament called on the Saudi regime to take seriously the final warning issued by the leader of the revolution, to reconsider its actions, and to cease its procrastination and conspiracies against the Yemeni people. It urged the regime to realize that continuing its policies of siege, starvation, and economic and military escalation will drag the entire region into a devastating and comprehensive war that will only serve the enemies of the nation.
The Parliament clarified that America is striving to push the Saudi regime and the region into a proxy war to deplete the resources and wealth of the region’s peoples in order to protect the Zionist entity.
The Parliament also called on the Saudi regime to immediately cease interfering in Yemen’s internal affairs, to stop harming the Yemeni people or damaging their interests and resources, and to respect the principle of good neighborliness as the only path to coexistence and peace.
It pointed out that Arab, regional, and international parliaments had endorsed the peace efforts and the implementation of the roadmap, including the agreement concerning the release of prisoners, the reopening of airports, and ending the suffering of the Yemeni people. However, Saudi Arabia escalated its military operations by targeting Sana’a airport and circumventing the agreement at the behest of the United States, just as it had reneged on the agreements concerning Gaza and Lebanon.
The statement continued, “The international community and the Security Council should have assumed their responsibility in identifying the party obstructing these agreements and the efforts exerted to de-escalate tensions and achieve a comprehensive and just peace in the region.”
The Parliament expressed its astonishment at those who call themselves Yemenis and claim responsibility for the attack on Sana’a airport, when everyone knows their true nature and that Saudi Arabia committed this heinous crime and bears full responsibility for it.
The statement praised the massive turnout of millions in Sana’a’s Al-Sabeen Square and various squares across the liberated provinces yesterday, in response to the revolution leader’s call for a massive and unprecedented public demonstration on “Friday of Warning and Mobilization.” This demonstration was a response to the mercenaries, a rejection of the continued oppression and humiliation, and a full mandate for the leadership to implement the options and decisions that will preserve Yemen’s rights, sovereignty, dignity, and honor.
The statement considered these massive crowds a clear message to the entire world that the Yemeni people possess all the elements of steadfastness and the factors for victory to reclaim all their legitimate rights.
