Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the understanding between Iran and the US on ending the war of aggression, following coordination among relevant parties, is scheduled to be signed on Friday, June 19.
Speaking on Monday on the sidelines of a conference attended by provincial governors at the Interior Ministry, Pezeshkian referred to recent measures taken regarding the signing of the Iran-US war-ending memorandum of understanding.
He said that, based on coordinated arrangements, it was approved that “the process” would be signed on Friday.
The president stressed that authorities had already been delegated to provincial governors and said that proper management of wartime conditions during the US-Israeli military aggression was made possible due to this decentralization of decision-making.
Pezeshkian added that all institutions contributed to managing the situation, noting that despite enemy expectations that the country would collapse during wartime and that markets, government offices, and systems would break down, conditions were effectively managed and such disruptions did not occur.
