Revolution leader extends warmest congratulations to Yemeni people, frontline fighters, armed forces, Islamic nation on occasion of Eid al-Adha

The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr Al Din Al Houthi, extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to the Yemeni people in all their segments and official institutions, to frontline fighters, to the armed forces in all their military and security formations, to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah, and to the entire Islamic nation, on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha

The Leader of the Revolution explained in a statement this evening that Eid al-Adha is an Islamic occasion with great educational and spiritual Islamic significance, as it commemorates the historical memory of the Prophet of Allah and His Khalil Ibrahim, and his son the Prophet of Allah Ismail (peace be upon them), in which they presented to the generations the greatest lessons in submission to Allah Almighty, devotion for His sake, and the great fruit of that in this world and the hereafter, in what they attained of glory and high status with Allah, wondrous care, good outcome, and great success

He also pointed out that the blessed Eid al-Adha is an occasion associated with a great pillar of Islam, for the pilgrims to the Sacred House of Allah, with its great rituals of immense faith and educational value, and Islamic symbolism of Muslim unity, and a reminder to them of their sacred responsibilities: to be the best nation that calls to goodness, enjoins what is right, forbids what is wrong, strives in the path of Allah, is guided by the light of Allah (the Holy Quran), and holds firmly to the strong rope of Allah, as Allah Almighty said: “You are the best nation produced for mankind, you enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah” [Al Imran 110], and He said: “And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided” [Al Imran 103], and He said: “Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew” [At-Tawbah 41], and He said: “Indeed, this Quran guides to that which is most upright and gives glad tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward” [Al-Isra 9]

Indeed, the great lesson in stoning the pillars, beginning with stoning the Jamrat al Aqaba on Eid al-Adha by the pilgrims to the Sacred House of Allah, and the stoning of the three pillars during the days of Tashreeq, is disavowal of Satan, the allies of Satan, the steps of Satan, and enmity towards the arrogant tyrant, the corrupter on earth, and the leaders of disbelief, and this is the Islamic stance towards what the criminals, the allies of Satan, do of corruption on earth, turning away from the path of Allah, oppressing the servants of Allah, and violating all sanctities, as is evident in our era and time in what the Jews, the leaders of disbelief (America and Israel), and their supporters, the servants of the Zionist movement, do, as each of the rituals of Hajj has a faith-based giving and guiding indications for those who benefit from them and realise their greatness and blessings

Eid al-Adha is among the days of glorifying Allah and remembering Allah Almighty, in the Eid prayer, and after prayers, and from the first days of sacrifices, which are an act of worship drawing close to Allah, and gratitude to Him for what He has permitted for us of livestock, and through it the poor and needy are comforted, and it is a season of goodness, righteousness, maintaining family ties, social solidarity, strengthening brotherhood bonds within the Muslim community, and showing joy in the blessing of Allah, as Allah Almighty said: “Say, ‘In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy – in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they accumulate'” [Yunus 58]

Indeed, our Islamic nation is in greatest need of benefiting from these blessed Islamic occasions, in their great giving and blessed impact, especially as the nation is in a phase where it faces the American Israeli onslaught, and at the forefront of confronting it, the nation must arm itself with the weapon of awareness and insight, and consolidate its faith affiliation through practical commitment, and through confidence in Allah Almighty, reliance upon Him, and submission to Him, by following His Noble Book and being guided by it, in order to attain success, divine support, and what Allah has promised them of victory, empowerment, goodness, and blessings, “And who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah” [At-Tawbah 111]

Indeed, the suffering of the Palestinian people and their great oppression is a deep wound in the body of the Islamic nation, and their cause concerns the entire Islamic nation, with respect to the sanctities in Palestine, foremost among them the blessed Al Aqsa Mosque, which the Zionist Jews are increasingly campaigning to target and violate its sanctity day after day, and with respect to the oppressed Palestinian people suffering the harshest forms of injustice: killing, starvation, forced displacement, violation of honour, land seizure, kidnapping, torture, and others, and whenever the Islamic nation neglects its responsibilities towards that, it opens the door for the Zionist Jewish enemy to expand its aggression against it, as is the case in its overt aggressive movement under the title: [Establishing Greater Israel, Changing the Middle East], which targets the region with all its peoples

The duty of Muslims is to provide all kinds of support to the Palestinian people and its fighters, and to Hezbollah in Lebanon, which faces the Israeli aggression on Lebanon with all steadfastness, resilience, and effectiveness, and the Islamic nation should also learn important lessons from the steadfastness of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Muslim Iranian people in facing the American Israeli aggression and confronting it with high effectiveness, and that this should be an incentive to strengthen Islamic brotherhood and enhance cooperation among the peoples of our nation in confronting the Zionist enemy, which targets everyone, as Islamic brotherhood is an obligation from the obligations of Islam and an important factor of strength

Indeed, our dear Muslim Yemeni people, stemming from their authentic faith identity, have raised the banner of jihad in the path of Allah Almighty, and have contributed effectively and with great popular presence in that, and they did not remain silent when the Zionist infidels insulted the Holy Quran, nor did they stand idly by in the face of the tragedy of the Palestinian people in Gaza, nor did they shirk their sacred responsibilities in the great round of confrontation against American and Israeli tyranny, which targeted our Islamic nation under the title: [Changing the Middle East, Establishing Greater Israel], and they remain steadfast on their Quranic path, holding fast to their faith identity and human dignity, relying on Allah and trusting in Him, and sufficient is Allah as a protector, and sufficient is Allah as a helper

And the outcome is for the righteous
