Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem, during the funeral ceremonies for the martyred Sayyed Ali Khamenei in Lebanon, praised the late leader as “unique in his era” and “the builder of the foundations of contemporary Islamic civilization.”
He affirmed that the millions participating in the funeral express their love and connection to this path, noting that Khamenei’s martyrdom represents “the beginning of a revolutionary path” that will change the region’s landscape.
He renewed the emphasis on the continuation of resistance and rejected the “Framework Agreement,” describing it as “entirely in Israel’s interest” and asserting that “no clause of it will pass.”
He called on the Lebanese authorities to retract it and pursue indirect negotiation instead of direct.
He also stressed the duality of resistance steadfastness and Iranian support as the foundation for achieving results, and affirmed that the priority is restoring sovereignty and expelling the occupation, while adhering to the Iranian-American understanding path and the field.
