In a statement issued the Council indicated that the Leader of the Revolution’s directives represent a fundamental turning point, moving the country from a defensive posture to a comprehensive initiative aimed at restructuring the internal situation and building a genuine and productive partnership. This partnership would integrate governmental and societal efforts to break the economic war, protect the plundered wealth of the Yemeni people, and revitalize local production to overcome the repercussions of an aggression and blockade that has persisted for more than 11 years.
The statement emphasized that the sensitive timing and exceptional circumstances the region is experiencing necessitate that all national components and forces recognize their religious and political responsibility and rally around the unifying principles to thwart the efforts of the aggression coalition and its international sponsors—America and Israel—and their regional proxies, who seek to keep Yemen in a state of instability and subjugation, subject to economic and social dependency.
The Shura Council commended the immediate response and high level of readiness demonstrated by the General Mobilization Forces in all their formations and the Popular Support Brigades in response to the call of the Leader of the Revolution. It considered this renewed mobilization and its integrated coordination with the Armed Forces as the true safeguard for fortifying the home front and deterring any new acts of aggression the enemies might commit.
The Council urged the Yemeni people and their noble tribes to maintain the revolutionary momentum and continue their training in the open mobilization camps, “Al-Aqsa Flood,” and to raise their levels of awareness and preparedness to confront all military and security eventualities.
The Shura Council reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance, and its commitment to the unity of the arenas within the axis of jihad and resistance until the defeat of Zionist-American tyranny, stressing that the cohesion of the leadership, the army and the people is sufficient to secure legitimate rights and achieve full independence.
