“Wall, Settlement Resistance Commission”: Settlers Set 799 Fires in West Bank from Beginning of 2023 Until July
The Palestinian news agency “Wafa” reported today, Friday, that this came in a paper in which the Commission presented an analytical reading of settler fires, as they have become one of the most prominent terrorist tools used against Palestinian citizens.
The paper’s data revealed an escalation in numbers, rising from 217 fires in 2023 to 264 in 2024, then to 307 in 2025, while 112 fires were recorded during 2026 up to July 10.
A total of 552 fires were concentrated in the governorates of Nablus and Ramallah and Al-Bireh alone, accounting for 61.3 percent of the total fires, reflecting an organized and recurring pattern targeting the security of Palestinian citizens, their property, and their means of survival.
