Zionist Attacks Continue in Gaza and West Bank, and Arrest Campaign Expands

The Gaza Strip and the West Bank are witnessing continued escalation by the Israeli enemy despite a ceasefire agreement signed in October 2025, with ongoing airstrikes, artillery shelling, home demolitions, and widespread arrest campaigns targeting civilians and infrastructure.

On Sunday morning, a 15-year-old Palestinian boy was killed after being struck by shrapnel from a drone-fired munition in the Qizan Abu Rashwan area, south of Khan Younis. The incident comes as the Israeli enemy continues to violate the ceasefire for the 206th consecutive day through gunfire, airstrikes, artillery bombardment, and the destruction of civilian homes and facilities.

Israeli forces also carried out demolition operations east of Khan Younis, while tanks and military vehicles intensified gunfire toward eastern areas of the city. Heavy gunfire was also reported in eastern Gaza City.

According to the Government Media Office in Gaza, the Israeli enemy committed 377 ceasefire violations during April, resulting in the killing of 111 Palestinians and the injury of 376 others.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that since the ceasefire in October 2025, a total of 828 Palestinians have been killed and 2,342 injured. The cumulative toll since the start of the Israeli aggression in October 2023 has risen to 72,608 killed and 172,445 wounded.

In the West Bank, Israeli forces launched a wide-scale arrest campaign early Sunday, detaining at least seven Palestinians, including journalist Islam Al-Amarna in Bethlehem. Additional arrests were reported in Jenin, Hebron, and Tulkarm.

Israeli forces also detained Amin Al-Haroub, a candidate who recently won municipal elections in Deir Samet, days after another candidate was reportedly forced to resign. The raids included storming homes and converting some into military outposts.

Meanwhile, Israeli settlers escalated attacks in the northern Jordan Valley, destroying a water pipeline supplying agricultural areas east of Atouf town, disrupting irrigation and access to water.

The escalation comes despite a ceasefire agreement announced in October 2025, which has been repeatedly violated by the Israeli enemy through continued military operations in Gaza and the West Bank.

The ongoing aggression has contributed to a worsening humanitarian situation, with widespread destruction of infrastructure and continued targeting of civilians. Arrest campaigns and settler attacks in the West Bank reflect a broader policy of tightening control over Palestinian territories and increasing pressure on the population.
