Israel arrests 15 Palestinians including journalist, children, in West Bank

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Media Office reported that Israeli forces continued their policy of mass arrests of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank during raids and searches early Sunday morning, detaining 15 Palestinians, including a journalist and children. The office explained on its website that Israeli forces launched a large-scale arrest campaign in the town of Attil in the Tulkarm Governorate, targeting a number of citizens, including Ziad Awda Allah and his sons Ahmad, Uday, Qusay, and Mu’adh Ziad Awda Allah.

In the Hebron Governorate, Israeli forces arrested two children, Muhammad Yusri Jaradat and Abd al-Hay Jaradat, from Sa’ir, in addition to arresting journalist Raouf Shriteh from al-Dhahiriya. They also arrested Nizar Baligh Jaradat from Sa’ir.

In the al-Bireh Governorate, Israeli forces raided the city and arrested Adam Siraj and Omar al-Qatari from the al-Am’ari refugee camp.

In the Tubas Governorate, Israeli forces arrested Rayan Zahi Abu Ali from Tayasir.

In the Bethlehem Governorate, Israeli forces arrested Naseem Adel Dakhlallah from Tuqu’.

In the Jenin Governorate, they arrested Zaid Jaradat from Silat al-Harithiya.

In the Tulkarm Governorate, Israeli forces arrested Khaled Sarouji from Tulkarm refugee camp.

The Prisoners’ Media Office confirmed that the escalation of mass arrest campaigns, accompanied by field interrogations and physical assaults against citizens, represents an extension of the collective punishment policy pursued by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians, especially in areas subjected to frequent raids and the continuous targeting of released prisoners and their families.
