Foreign ministry condemns British Govt’s targeting of Iranian revolutionary guard

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned on Wednesday the British government’s blatant Zionist move to seek the inclusion of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on the so-called list of banned organizations.

In a statement issued, the Ministry affirmed that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard is an active and influential Islamic force confronting Zionist projects in the region.

It pointed out that the Western powers seek weak Arab and Islamic forces that would merely serve as tools to implement their sinister agenda in the region.

The Ministry praised the role of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in defending the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran and thwarting the conspiracies of Iran’s enemies and the Islamic nation in general.

It reiterated the Republic of Yemen’s support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and its right to self-defense and to respond to the brutal American aggression and unjust blockade.
