Military Source: Yemeni Armed Forces Strike Saudi Aramco Refinery in Jizan

The Yemeni Armed Forces have targeted the Saudi Aramco refinery in the Jizan region using two drones, with the strike achieving precise accuracy, a military source confirmed Thursday.

The source told the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) that the operation was carried out in response to Saudi enemy violations of Yemeni airspace and sovereignty in Saadah and Hajjah provinces.
Commitment to Decisive Response
The source affirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces continue, with God’s help, “to fulfill their duties with a decisive response to any violation of our country’s sovereignty or any aggression targeting our country and our believing, mujahid people.”
The Jizan refinery is a key Saudi oil facility, and its targeting represents a significant escalation in Yemen’s military operations against Saudi Arabia. The strike follows Saudi airspace violations and ongoing tensions over the naval blockade and the “siege for siege” equation.
The use of two drones with “precise accuracy” demonstrates Yemen’s growing capability to conduct targeted strikes against strategic Saudi assets. The Jizan region, located near the Yemeni border, has been a frequent target of Yemeni operations, including previous drone and missile strikes.
