Speech by Leader Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi on 12th Anniversary of 21 September Revolution

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that our master Muhammad is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.

O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad’s good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.

Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

Allah (Glory be to Him) says in the Holy Quran:

{‘Allah has promised those of you who believe and do good that He will certainly make them successors in the land, as He did with those before them, and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, and will indeed change their fear into security; [provided that] they worship Me, ascribing no partner to Me. And those who turn infidel after that are the transgressors‘}[An-Nur 24:55]. This is the word of truth from Allah, the Almighty.

On this blessed and cherished anniversary, we turn to Allah (the Almighty) with praise and gratitude. He alone is the Bestower of every blessing and the source of every virtue. It is He Who granted our dear people victory and support in their blessed 21 September Revolution. It is He Who provided our people with help, guidance, and success, blessing them with a revolution that fulfils a monumental goal: true freedom and independence, deeply rooted in our faith-based identity and Islamic belonging.

It represents liberation from the hegemony of the American tyrants and their cohorts, all of whom strive to enslave nations to serve Satan and the forces of tyranny, arrogance, and wrongdoing. They operate within the framework of a dark, Zionist and godless Western agenda. Tragically, this agenda is aided by hypocrites from our own Ummah who seek to subjugate our people for their enemies’ benefit.

It is a tremendous blessing to gain freedom and independence from foreign tutelage and halt the misguided trajectory driving our people toward total collapse under that tutelage. Indeed, our people were blessed with such an achievement. Therefore, 21 September, with all that this blessed revolution has achieved, stands as one of the days of Allah, marking a profound divine grace bestowed upon our dear people.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our dear people. Foremost among them are the honourable revolutionaries who made monumental contributions to this cause through their diverse efforts, dedication, and boundless sacrifice, including the martyrs, their families, the wounded, and the armed forces.

I also extend my congratulations to our official state institutions and their dedicated officials, as well as to everyone who has graciously reached out to congratulate us on this cherished occasion.

Prior to the 21 September Revolution, it was abundantly clear that our people desperately needed this revolution and this great mobilisation. What occurred before the revolution was no minor detail; it was a blatant and publicly declared confiscation of our nation’s freedom and independence. It subjugated our people to foreign tutelage. At the helm of this foreign tutelage were the Americans, followed closely by the British, with the Saudi regime acting as the regional agent providing funding and handling execution. Beyond that operational role, however, the core agenda was driven entirely by the Americans and British, while the Israelis stood ready to step in as they paved the way for their involvement.

Foreign tutelage is nothing less than losing our freedom and independence. This is no trivial matter—it entails a catastrophic loss for both our faith and our worldly interests. Had that situation persisted, and had this blessed revolution not intervened to stop it, our people today would be just like any other occupied, subjugated nation. They would have completely lost their freedom and fallen entirely under the control of their enemies, who could do whatever they wished with them. They would be defenceless nations with plundered wealth and occupied homelands, completely subservient and exploited by their foes. This is a grave matter indeed. Such officially declared tutelage comes from enemies who offer no sincere advice, care nothing for the people’s interests, and feel no compassion for them. Their only concern is themselves. They are criminal, tyrannical, arrogant, unjust, and greedy entities that show no mercy to anyone. They pursue their own greed and interests without the slightest concern or regard for the rights and interests of other nations. Whenever conditions favour them, they exploit them to the maximum, regardless of the harm inflicted on others.

What’s astonishing is that back then, certain domestic factions that accepted their tutelage and submitted to them, actually dealt with them in good faith. They treated them as respectable, kind entities, charitable organizations, and groups driven by noble human impulses. Consequently, they empowered them further and opened more doors for them. This behaviour reflects sheer stupidity on the part of many such factions, as well as outright betrayal.

Ultimately, what accompanied this tutelage? They handed over the country’s affairs; they surrendered sovereign decision-making. The authority in Sana’a was reduced to a mere facade, its primary function being the execution of the dictates of those whom they had allowed to become the overlords of our people in every arena. The entire official programme across all sectors—political, economic, military and security—was dictated solely by the whims of the Americans, the British, and their cohorts at the time. And what was the inevitable outcome? It drove the country towards total collapse on every front:

–The Political landscape was hurtling towards collapse and disintegration, plagued by endless rifts, fragmentation, and perpetual crises. Moreover, they deliberately engineered the official and political framework of the country to ensure it remained weak, divided, fractured and at odds with itself. This paved the way for its enemies to meddle in all its affairs without the slightest hindrance.

On the military front, they moved to systematically dismantle the army. Even though the military during those stages was entirely subservient to the ruling authorities and the directives of those at the helm, they still sought to weaken and tear it apart. They targeted every asset within the military institution that could be useful in repelling foreign aggression. This included obliterating the air defence forces and their operational capabilities, such as aircraft and air defence systems. Though the naval forces were modest from the very beginning, they ensured they remained nothing more than a symbolic presence.
The security situation was heading towards complete collapse: assassinations, chaos, and the spread of criminal takfiri gangs into Sana’a and other governorates, among other things. Assassinations in Sana’a continued unabated, with even members of the security services being targeted. Soldiers, civilians, and members of the academic elite were all being killed. There were extremely horrific crimes, including the storming of some hospitals—truly horrific crimes!
The economic ruin was absolutely devastating, marked by entirely unjustified austerity measures and price hikes. The resources were there, including oil and gas wealth, and there was no external blockade. Foreign states were announcing grants, loans, and aid. There was no official, ongoing war with foreign powers. Yet, despite all this, we suffered an inexplicable economic collapse! Oil and gas were abundant, national resources and border ports were functioning, and there were no import restrictions. Still, everything was collapsing! This was a collapse driven by deliberate policies. It was engineered through specific political agendas.
We also witnessed total interference in state affairs. The US ambassador, alongside the other ambassadors of the so-called ‘Group of Ten’ and the overlords they had installed over the country, meddled in absolutely everything. The Americans and the British, hand in hand with their Saudi accomplice, interfered in every single sector of the state: the judiciary, education, security, and the military. They micromanaged every detail to serve their own interests at the expense of our country. They moved to ruthlessly exploit the situation, capitalising on the ruling factions who had surrendered the field to them, flung the doors wide open, and granted them free rein to do exactly as they pleased. They seized this with both hands, viewing it as a golden opportunity to entrench every form of foreign control over the country. Consequently, the US ambassador acted as the de facto ruler of Sana’a, an authoritarian dictating to the president and to everyone else. He and his aides monopolised decision-making; they held the absolute power to command and forbid and to issue directives. Furthermore, they targeted the popular arena to corrupt it and dismantle it, and they went so far as to establish military bases right here in Sana’a, among countless other things.
The situation our dear people faced at that time was extraordinarily grave. The price they were paying as a direct consequence of that tutelage was their freedom, which is more precious than all else—the supreme human value for all mankind.
Furthermore, the enemies actively sought to fuel conflicts under every conceivable pretext.
Residential neighbourhoods in cities were targeted.
Villages were targeted.
Even Bedouin families in their tents were targeted.
Livestock was targeted everywhere.
Every essential aspect of life was targeted: markets, mosques, hospitals—every feature of life in the country.
our internal cohesion,
our strength and steadfastness on the battlefield, which Allah (Glory be to Him) enabled us to maintain through His grace and favour, and
the development of our military capabilities from scratch—literally from scratch—including the development of our missile capabilities, military capabilities of all kinds, unmanned aircraft, military manufacturing, and so on.
Destroying the military infrastructure and capabilities of our dear people.
Eliminating their leadership.
Weakening the nation’s military and security establishments.
It also opened its airspace and airports to them, including permitting Israeli reconnaissance aircraft to operate from Saudi airfields to conduct surveillance over Yemen.
The Saudi regime threw its full weight into intercepting missiles and drones by every means possible. It exerted maximum effort to intercept the drones and missiles launched by the Yemeni Armed Forces against the Zionist enemy in support of the oppressed Palestinian people, maintaining this posture throughout the Al-Aqsa Flood battle.
On the media front, it launched aggressive, extensive media campaigns to distort Yemen’s stance and support for Gaza. This mirrored their broader smear campaigns targeting the Palestinian people, the mujahidin in Palestine, the Palestinian Resistance, Hezbollah, and the Islamic Republic of Iran. They followed the same course across the board, but their primary focus remained on smearing our dear people’s support for Palestine.
The Saudi regime sought to tighten its economic blockade, imposing more arbitrary and unjust measures to stifle trade and adding further restrictions that worsened the suffering of our dear people. Because of official state policies maintained over decades, our dear people had become dependent on imports for ninety percent of all their needs, including food. Consequently, the restrictions imposed by the Saudi enemy—under American supervision and with British participation—have had a severe impact. At times, British and Saudi delegations would even travel to Djibouti specifically to tighten the chokehold on commercial imports and goods bound for Yemen. This only exacerbated the country’s economic crisis, driving up prices and causing other hardships. The Saudi regime also resorted to various steps and measures to wage war on the country’s economy, often announcing them through its proxies, who are nothing more than pawns and hired hands.

–The fragmentation of our society along political, sectarian, and regional lines was well underway.

Therefore, this popular revolution restored the Yemeni people’s standing and safeguarded their dignity and their faith-based sense of pride. It was a true revolution rooted in a genuine faith identity. This was no revolution instigated by any external force; rather, it was an authentically Yemeni, grassroots decision. It is the Yemeni people who mobilised. The people rose up of their own accord, driven by their own will, resolve, and capabilities. They mounted a formidable and monumental uprising—one that struck fear into the ‘Group of Ten’ at the time and secured a historic victory. The revolution stood out for its sheer authenticity because it remained deeply rooted in our people’s faith-based identity; it was never at odds with who we are, nor did it import a foreign identity. It was distinguished by its genuinely emancipatory nature—genuine, in every sense of the word.

This is precisely why the enemies took such a hostile stance against our dear people when they rose up in this revolution that possessed such monumental and crucial characteristics. They actively schemed against our dear people, adopting a fiercely antagonistic position towards them and their emancipatory movement. They did so despite the fact that our dear people were unequivocally clear: They were merely asserting their legitimate rights—rights universally recognised for all peoples of the world—to be a free and independent nation. Simultaneously, ours is a people defined by the most noble traits, values, and principles, all stemming from our faith-based identity. They are not an aggressive nation that others need fear, for they harbour no unjust designs on anyone’s wealth or property, nor do they harbour imperialist or chaotic ambitions. Our people have always been transparent—in their foreign policy, their regional Arab and Islamic relations, and their broader international outlook—desiring positive ties based on mutual respect, common interests, and shared values, while safeguarding their own independence. Above all, regarding the major causes of our Islamic Ummah and threats facing it, our people maintain a principled, faith-based, and profoundly humanitarian stance.

Despite all this, our enemies have continued to conspire against our dear people, attempting to reassert control over them. Their ultimate goal—and this is the core issue—is to dominate our people and strip them of their freedom and independence. This is entirely unacceptable to us. The problem will persist as long as the foreign agenda pursued by the Americans, Israelis, British, and their regional proxies, such as the Saudis, remains focused on dominating and subjugating our people, turning our country into their military bases, keeping our people weak, divided, and overwhelmed by compounding crises, and exploiting our human capital for their own aggressive and satanic ends.

Even their local proxies—including certain factions and entities that sought to maintain their unjust and subservient grip on power, despite the immense tolerance and noble ethics of the Yemeni Revolution, which upheld the principle of peace and partnership—chose to align themselves with the aggressive agenda of the Americans, Israelis, British, and Saudis. They adopted a hostile stance in order to serve these enemies, enlisting themselves as obedient soldiers in a relentless campaign against our dear people. Their ultimate goal is to subjugate our nation once again to foreign tutelage and allow outside forces to reoccupy and control it.

Acting at the instigation of America, under its direct supervision, and pursuant to an American decision—with British and Zionist encouragement, participation, and multifaceted contributions from day one—the Saudi regime launched an all-out, brutal, and unjust aggression against our people, accompanied by a severe blockade.

In its aggression under American supervision on 26 March 2015, which continued for all these years—with several years from 2022 onward during which the conflict entered a period of de-escalation, rather than a complete end to the aggression—the Saudi regime committed some of the most horrific crimes against our dear people, from the very first day of the aggression, and that was under American supervision and with British participation and Zionist support and encouragement. The Saudi regime has targeted every essential component of life in our country, without exception. These horrific crimes committed by the Saudi regime constitute war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide. Indeed, the full range of terms used to describe the gravest crimes applies to what was committed against our dear people.

Despite all of that, the international position in general, as well as the position across the Islamic world, was one of abandonment and passive observation of what was happening to the Yemeni people, with the exception of the position of the Axis of Jihad and Resistance and the few rare free voices in the Islamic world and elsewhere. Why? This is because the Americans provided political cover for these crimes, which were committed with American weapons, military equipment, and bombs—including weapons prohibited under international law—that were supplied by the Americans to the Saudi regime through major arms deals. Such deals were described at the time as deals of the century, given the enormous scale of Saudi purchases of the bombs used to kill our dear people everywhere:

There were also horrific crimes that were documented, and their images spread around the world. All those horrifying scenes bore the unmistakable marks of brutal criminality.

During the years of escalation in Yemen, the Saudi regime revealed its Zionist character—the brutal, criminal, and savage character of Zionism, recognising no restraints, values, or moral principles. It has killed thousands of children and thousands of women. Civilians were killed in their homes, in their mosques, in their markets, and on the roads. It has also targeted every aspect of life: hospitals, schools and universities, homes occupied by civilians, and a very large number of mosques—more than two thousand mosques. Cemeteries were targeted. A shelter for the blind was targeted. Wedding celebrations in our country were targeted, as were mourning gatherings and other social occasions, with the aim of killing as many people as possible. We have hard evidence, including video footage documenting these crimes. Much of this evidence has already been published, while much more remains available but has not yet been made public.

For many years, this massive criminality continued: Year after year, the Saudi regime carried out such horrific crimes with utter brutality and criminality in plain sight of the world. However, most governments and regimes in the Islamic world remained silent and issued no condemnation of these crimes:

the killing of thousands of children;
the killing of thousands of women;
the destruction of homes in cities and villages;
the destruction of hundreds of mosques—more than two thousand mosques;
the destruction of markets and public property; and
the destruction of public-service infrastructure of all kinds, including water tanks, electricity facilities, and other essential public services.

Despite all these crimes—including the killing of thousands of our dear people, children and women, young and old; the targeting of universities, schools, and mosques; and the commission of all kinds of crimes that are universally recognised as such and against which people should take a stand, driven by their human nature, their principles and values, their respect for international law, or any other consideration—the prevailing response was simply to stand by and watch. Why? This is because of the absence of human and Islamic conscience and the absence of values and principles from the policies and orientations adopted by those regimes—including most regimes in the Islamic world. Indeed, these regimes became even more exposed by what followed, especially during the Zionist Jewish aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

In any case, during that period, it was crucial for our people to maintain such steadfastness and resilience, as Allah, by His grace, enabled them to do, and to confront the aggression directed against them. In fact, if our dear people—in the face of those brutal crimes, that genocide, and the aggression that had been unjustly launched against them by the Saudi side, under American supervision and with British and Zionist participation—had waited for the United Nations, the Security Council, international organisations, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the Arab League, or any of those institutions and bodies, or for any of the prominent and major countries of the Islamic world to do something to stop those crimes against them, none of them would have done anything for them. No matter how severe the Saudi-American aggression became, and no matter how terrible the suffering, they would have done nothing for our people. The tragedy was immense, and it remains so. This is because the aggression was accompanied by a blockade that forced some of our people, driven by hunger, to eat leaves from trees. The suffering was immense. If our people had placed their hope in any party, here or there, to do something for them, nothing would have come of it.

The honourable position of solidarity came from the Axis of Resistance and from free voices in the Islamic world. Elsewhere, such voices were rare—very rare indeed. What mattered, however, was that our people themselves took action, driven by their faith-based orientation and by their humanitarian, religious, and national responsibility, to defend themselves and their land. They moved to defend their honour, their dignity, their lives, their very existence, their freedom, and their independence, and to confront that unjust, brutal, criminal, and savage aggression, relying upon Allah (Glory be to Him) and placing their trust in Him. {‘And Allah suffices as a protector. And Allah suffices as a supporter‘}[An-Nisa 4:45].

Our efforts to defend ourselves and confront the aggression steadily became more effective at various levels:

This is not to mention the dedication of the free members of our people, who stepped forward to the battlefield with great determination and resolve, with freedom and dignity, and with faith and devotion for the sake of Allah (Glory be to Him). They devoted enormous efforts, day and night, to confronting the aggression on the battlefield, while making great sacrifices for the sake of Allah as they defended their land, honour, dignity, freedom and independence.

This produced significant results that frustrated the enemies. They had hoped, aspired, and expected to bring the conflict to a complete end in their favour and regain complete control over the country and this people once again. Instead, they reached a state of frustration after many years of escalation and aggression, during which they had exhausted every means at their disposal: committing crimes, exerting military pressure, imposing an economic blockade, and targeting our dear people in every possible way. They were shocked by the remarkable level of steadfastness that Allah enabled our dear people to maintain, by the level of effectiveness and the growth of their military capabilities, and by their performance on the battlefield. As a result, they were compelled into a phase of de-escalation in 2022—a phase that has endured ever since.

The period of de-escalation was an opportunity for the Saudi aggressor to reconsider its calculations and realise that it would never be possible for it to gain complete control over this people and subjugate our people once again to the Americans, the Israelis, and the British. This is because the Saudi regime presents itself as their agent and regional proxy, carrying out their agendas and conspiracies, seeking to serve their interests, and operating under their direction. It has no independence, programme, or project of its own; rather, it is subordinate to them. Unfortunately, it has taken the wrong course.

When our dear people fulfilled their religious, moral, and humanitarian duty by standing with Gaza in Palestine, the Saudi aggressor saw an opportunity in this. Bankrolling its hopes on the US-Israeli aggression against our beloved nation—an American assault executed across two distinct rounds under Biden and Trump, with the British participating in those two rounds, alongside the Zionist enemy—the Saudi enemy gambled heavily on these attacks, expecting them to yield major results:

Alongside this, it moved to collaborate in every possible manner with the Israeli Zionist enemy. This collaboration took several forms:

–The Saudis operated numerous covert cells that actively served the Americans, the British, and the Israelis by offering intelligence. This is an established fact for us, corroborated by hard evidence. We apprehended many of these cells, and their confessions were glaringly clear. There was active, joint intelligence work involving the Americans, British, Zionists, and Saudis.

The situation has reached the point where the catastrophic effects of the blockade have accumulated to such an extent that the plight of our people can no longer be overlooked, met with silence, or ignored. That is, the situation our people have reached is a result of those policies targeting them, through which the Americans and the Saudis are pursuing their objectives—and they are explicit about this. There are studies, positions, and statements from the American, Zionist, British, and Saudi sides that reveal their objectives behind this severe blockade, these measures, and these campaigns targeting our country at every level: politically, militarily, in terms of security, economically, and so on.

The continued deprivation, from the beginning of the aggression to the present day, of access to our oil and gas resources—which play a fundamental role in providing salaries from their revenues and in using those revenues to provide essential services in the country, particularly health and education services—is part of this. They openly state and disclose their objectives: to bring this people to a state of total collapse so that they will surrender to them, submit to them, and enable them to regain control over them. They state this explicitly in many of their statements. The matter is clear: Through inflicting terrible suffering on our dear people, they seek to bring them to the point of total collapse—destabilising the internal situation, engaging in recruitment and mobilisation efforts, fragmenting society, conducting intensive intelligence operations, carrying out security operations, launching military attacks, exerting political pressure, launching massive media campaigns, waging psychological warfare, and employing every form of targeting against our dear people. They pursue these objectives in order to bring our dear people to a state of collapse, followed by their surrender and the restoration of their complete control over our people. Their aim is to deprive our people of their freedom, independence, and dignity; to enslave them to others instead of Allah; to regain complete control over all their resources; and to turn this homeland, in all its strategic locations, into military bases for themselves. They have worked towards this by intensively seeking to destabilise the internal situation, recruiting people by buying loyalties and corrupting people through inducements, stirring up problems and crises and exploiting them, and carrying out numerous other activities, including security targeting and much more.

The security agencies have made significant efforts to confront criminal and hostile intelligence cells that operate against our dear people to serve those enemies.

The harm caused by the blockade has increased over time, and its effects have accumulated. As I have explained, this is particularly evident given that 90 per cent of Yemen’s needs, including food, are met through imports from abroad—a figure acknowledged even by the United Nations itself. The restrictions have therefore had a severe impact, as has the targeting of the local currency and of our dear people in every sphere. Consequently, the living conditions of our dear people have reached a state of profound tragedy and a catastrophic situation that can by no means be ignored or overlooked, as I have explained. This is an extremely grave humanitarian crisis, as acknowledged by the United Nations and foreign organisations.

The United Nations estimated that more than 22 million people in Yemen would need humanitarian assistance and protection services in 2026—that is, this current year. This indicates the extent of the severe suffering endured by our people: a severe lack of purchasing power and poverty that has reached an extremely critical level, with people living below the poverty line.

The United Nations’ own reports state that more than eighteen million people in Yemen are facing high levels of food insecurity. This means that there is a crisis even in accessing food and the basic nourishment they need. They also report that more than two million children under the age of five are suffering from acute malnutrition. Given this catastrophic situation, can we wait until it becomes even worse? Shall we wait until people in this country lose their lives to famines spreading across rural areas and cities? Or shall we wait until the collapse of the health situation reaches an even more devastating level than what has already occurred?

The Ministry of Public Health has published deeply painful statistics and details, showing the scale of the suffering inflicted on this people by the enemies. In other words, this is a deliberate targeting. The Ministry of Health states that the consequences of the blockade, shortages of medicines, and inadequate healthcare have led to the deaths of more than 1.4 million Yemenis. This is an enormous number—a very large figure—reflecting a genuine tragedy in the country’s health situation, the lack of services, and inadequate medical care. The ministry also states that 120 types of medicines for chronic diseases are unavailable. The healthcare system’s capacity has been reduced to zero, both at the official level and among the public. The situation is tragic in every sense of the word.

Official authorities in the country have published detailed and accurate statistics on the effects and damage caused by the aggression and the blockade. They have exposed what the aggressors have done to this country and the consequences that have resulted from it and from the blockade. These figures have been announced at press conferences and published through the media. They are available to anyone who wishes to review them. This is to make clear that we are a people who have suffered profound and grave injustice—one of the greatest injustices in the world—and that our people have a genuine cause. When we take action to confront those who have wronged us so severely and inflicted such suffering upon us, we are acting on the basis of a legitimate right, justified in every respect: religious, Quranic, Islamic, humanitarian, and legal—by every consideration. Our actions are intended to defend a genuine cause. They are not intended to create problems in the region or to cause difficulties and inconvenience to others. Nor are we acting arbitrarily, without justification, or in pursuit of any external agenda.

Indeed, at this stage, we are benefiting from international and regional circumstances, as our enemies have become preoccupied with the major confrontation in the region. This has reduced some of the pressure and targeting directed against us, creating one of the opportunities available to us. However, we are a people with a genuine and clear cause. We are prepared to discuss, debate, dispute, and confront all those who seek to present a false and inaccurate picture of our position. They portray us as mere troublemakers amid the critical circumstances in the region, acting in the interests of other external agendas.

In our principled, moral, religious, and humanitarian position, we stand in full solidarity with the peoples of our Islamic Ummah and with those in the Axis of Jihad and Resistance. We cooperate with them, and we regard any American-Israeli-Zionist aggression against any Muslim country as a threat to this Ummah as a whole. We believe that it is the duty of all Muslims to cooperate with any Muslim country targeted by America and Israel, particularly since such targeting is fundamentally part of the Zionist plan for the region, which poses a danger to all the people, countries, and nations of this Ummah. We have explained the reasons and background behind our position as a Yemeni people time and time again.

But we are also a people with a genuine cause, and we have suffered a profound injustice—one of the greatest injustices in the world. The hardship endured by our dear people is among the most severe experienced by any people on this earth. So how can others resent us or take issue with us when we take action against the aggression, the blockade, and the injustice imposed upon our people? Indeed, if they themselves were asked to accept a situation like ours, and what the Saudis have done to us under American and Zionist supervision, they would not accept it. No free people anywhere in the world would accept such a situation.

Regarding the states and entities that are expressing sympathy with Saudi Arabia these days and whose positions indicate that they want to cooperate with it in sin and aggression, would they accept having their airports closed to their people, with air travel completely prohibited for passengers, patients, and the wounded, as well as for commercial activity? Would they accept being returned to a situation reminiscent of centuries past, in which a country is completely deprived of air services, including civil aviation and passenger flights, preventing its citizens from travelling for medical treatment, conducting commercial activities, or meeting the various needs of their daily lives? This is just one aspect of the blockade imposed directly upon us by Saudi Arabia, which seeks to prevent flights to and from our country. This is injustice. As for those entities that sympathise with Saudi Arabia, grieve alongside it, and shed tears over its oil facilities and over the responses carried out by our armed forces to its aggression and airstrikes against our country, let them tell us whether they would accept even this one aspect of the blockade.

Would they accept restrictions similar to those imposed on commercial imports into our country, whereby goods remain for many months in another country undergoing inspection, examination, and arbitrary procedures, piece by piece? This happens even though these goods come from Asian and Gulf countries, including some of those very countries that are expressing such sympathy with Saudi Arabia. As a result, the goods reach our markets only at the highest prices and at exorbitant costs.

Would they accept measures targeting the currency, the banking sector, and commercial activity? Would they accept others taking various measures, all of which restrict, obstruct, and constrain commercial activity, placing it under restrictions and shackles that hinder it?

Would such states and entities also accept being subjected to restrictions and being deprived of their oil and gas resources and public wealth, leaving them completely cut off from those resources? What people would accept this?! Is it normal for officials and employees—for example, in Turkey or Pakistan—to work without salaries for many years (ten, eleven, or twelve years)? Would they accept this because their oil and sovereign resources had been withheld from them and redirected for the benefit of another state? Are these imaginary issues that are not serious enough for a people to take a stand over?

Would they accept the Saudis interfering in every detail of their affairs? At the political level, would they accept the Saudis being the ones who appoint the president, the minister, the employee, and the official, with no president, minister, or employee able to take office without their appointment? Would the Turks accept this? Would the Pakistanis accept this? Would the other Gulf states accept this? Would the rest of the Muslim countries accept this? As for non-Muslim countries, they certainly would not accept it, would they? This is what the Saudis do in our country. They want to be the sole authority, under American supervision, for appointing officials in the country. They seek to create a situation in which anyone who is not appointed by Saudi Arabia has no legitimacy, because, in their view, legitimacy is reserved for Saudi Arabia, America—with American oversight—Israel, and Britain. As for the will of our peoples, rooted in their faith-based identity, it has no consideration in their eyes.

Then there is the issue of control over oil and public resources, the unrestricted violation of the country, and interference in every detail, at every level and in every sphere. Who would accept this? It means the complete deprivation of freedom, independence, dignity, and honour—in other words, enslavement to others instead of Allah, in every sense of the word. Saudi Arabia wants to have complete authority over every detail in this country under American, Zionist, and British supervision.

Indeed, this is the real problem with the Saudi side. If the Saudi side understood that its relationship with us should be based on the principle of good-neighbourliness, shared bonds, common interests, mutual respect, and respect for the legitimate rights of peoples, there would be no problem in the first place. Instead, it is pursuing this aggressive, unjust, arrogant, and overbearing course, which is completely unacceptable. It insists on pursuing such a course through its aggression and blockade against our dear people, aiming to cause their complete collapse and force their submission.

The situation created by the Saudi side, under American supervision, against our dear people is a form of occupation: It has occupied a large area of this country and taken control of it. Indeed, the situation of those it has recruited and employed to operate under its command, control, and direction is clear: They are not decision-makers and do not pursue an independent course. They are merely acting under its orders and instructions. Saudi Arabia bought them with money; they sold themselves to it and enlisted with it against their own people. Their entire agenda is directed towards targeting and opposing this people, pursuing an aggressive course against our dear people in every sphere. In the economic sphere, they act in accordance with the American, Saudi, Zionist, and British agenda, targeting this people through every measure that causes widespread harm to the Yemeni people. The Saudis and the Americans merely use them as a glove worn over their criminal hand, so that they can conceal their crimes and serve as the public face of their aggression. Otherwise, the matter is clear: Everyone knows that those people are merely its employees. It is the one that appointed them, designating one as president, another as minister, and another as an official responsible for a particular role, and so on. It gives them those titles and allows them to assume these titles, yet they have absolutely no legitimacy by virtue of this. They are merely traitors who joined the enemies of this country and devoted all their activities to serving its enemies through every form of aggression targeting this people. This is the situation: their subordination is clear; the Saudi gives them orders and instructions.

Despite all the immense suffering endured by our dear people, since the beginning of this Hijri year, our people have begun taking action to exert pressure for an end to the blockade and aggression, and they demand their sovereign resources: oil, gas, and electricity generated by gas-fired power stations, as well as their other public resources and legitimate rights recognised internationally. Efforts began to end the blockade of the airport and resume flights for patients and travellers. At that point, the Saudi enemy went into a frenzy, asking why our people want to resume flights for patients and travellers! It then resumed its escalation, launching airstrikes on Sana’a airport and beginning to mobilise tens of thousands of fighters on the ground, along with enormous quantities of military equipment—hundreds of trucks loaded with weapons, ammunition, and shells, as well as tens of thousands of recruits, mercenaries, and traitors whom it is mobilising to target our people. Through this, they seek to annihilate our people.

This return to escalation through airstrikes and mobilisation for a ground offensive was confronted by our country, our people, our official institutions, and our armed forces, which moved to confront it according to the formula of blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation. This is a natural right: from a legal perspective, from the perspective of human nature, and according to divine law. Allah (Glory be to Him) says in the Holy Quran, {‘The one who defends himself after having been wronged, there is no blame on such people. Blame, in fact, is upon those who wrong people and make mischief on earth unjustly. For such people, there is a painful punishment‘}[Ash-Shuraa 42:41-42], {‘So when anyone commits aggression against you, be aggressive against him in the like manner as he did against you‘}[Al-Baqarah 2:194], and {‘Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory‘}[Al-Hajj 22:39]. Many verses in the Holy Quran demonstrate divine legitimacy. It is a legitimacy granted by Allah, not by America, not by Britain, and not by Israel. The legitimacy granted by Allah (Glory be to Him) gives us the right to confront the unjust aggression against us as a Yemeni people and to confront the unjust blockade imposed upon us as a Yemeni people. We act in accordance with the legitimacy granted by Allah (the Almighty)—the legitimacy of Islam, the legitimacy of the Quran—which is also recognised by human nature, the charters of the United Nations, and international law.

We are a people whom Saudi Arabia has attacked; it initiated the aggression against us through airstrikes and ground mobilisation, deep into our territory. It mobilised thousands to the Al-Jawf desert, to Marib, to Mokha, to the western coast, to the vicinity of Al-Bayda Governorate, and along the borders. In every direction, it mobilised tens of thousands. Its collaborators boasted and announced that they were heading to overrun what remained of this country and bring it under Saudi, Zionist, and American control. They were explicit about this: They were heading to do precisely that. There were hundreds of trucks loaded with weapons and tens of thousands of its fighters, mobilised under the supervision of its Saudi officers and military commanders, who went with those forces to Marib, to Al-Jawf in the desert, to Mokha on the western coast, and to the other fronts. Was all this intended to provide humanitarian assistance and relief to the Yemeni people and do them good? Or was it—as was publicly announced—with the aim of overrunning the rest of this country? There were also media campaigns, psychological warfare, and intimidation, along with attempts to destabilise the internal situation of the people and announcements that they were coming with atrocities—crimes of genocide and slaughter carried out in the manner they employ in other countries in their Zionist takfiri campaigns, and so on. In other words, they clearly moved towards all-out aggression and comprehensive targeting of this people, and they continue to insist on their Satanic, aggressive, and unjust objectives: stripping this people of its freedom and independence.

Through their armed forces and official institutions, our dear people moved to confront this, relying upon Allah (the Almighty), placing their trust in Allah, and driven by faith, confidence in Allah (Glory be to Him), and practical approach. They moved to confront the escalation initiated by Saudi Arabia through airstrikes and ground mobilisation. Thousands—not hundreds—of trucks loaded with weapons were deployed, along with Saudi officers who arrived to lead the aggressive campaigns themselves. Their aim was to overrun these free governorates from deep inside Yemeni territory. Therefore, our people moved to defend themselves by targeting those forces being mobilised against them to kill and annihilate them and occupy what remained of their homeland. They moved to establish the formula of blockade for blockade, and to respond in kind to the Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks against this country by carrying out strikes deep inside Saudi territory, targeting its oil facilities and military bases.

By the grace of Allah (Glory be to Him), due to the clear injustice suffered by our people, and because of our people’s reliance upon Allah in building their military capabilities, our dear people’s position proved highly effective and influential in confronting the brutal aggression and unjust blockade. Hence, Saudi Arabia began shouting, complaining of being wronged, crying out and appealing to others for help. This is happening even though the Americans continue to support Saudi Arabia at the level of investment, as they consider it one of their principal proxies in the region, who work for it with complete dedication and serve the interests of the Israeli enemy. Trump openly stated that, if it had not been for the Saudi regime, Israel would have been in big trouble and would not have survived. American experts are present in Saudi Arabia; Zionist experts work side by side with the Saudis; and there are British experts as well. This is an ongoing situation that has never stopped.

The situation is this: As a result of the effectiveness and strength of the Yemeni position in defending against and confronting Saudi aggression and blockade imposed on the Yemeni people, Saudi Arabia wanted to bring America, Israel, and Britain in with it—as we said in an earlier speech. It seeks to get them fully involved in the aggression against Yemen, rather than merely participating at certain levels. The regional circumstances surrounding the major battle in the region have left America, Israel, Britain, and the Western countries in general somewhat preoccupied. This is a problem for Saudi Arabia, because it wants everyone to fight alongside it against the Yemeni people and to join it in its aggression and blockade against the Yemeni people. It wants to draw the regional powers into this, including those in the Islamic world, not only those in the Arab arena. It wanted to bring in Turkey and Pakistan and draw them into this alongside it. It appeals to them for help day and night, imploring them to come to its aid, to fight alongside it, and to share with it in the sin and aggression against our dear people.

The Saudi regime keeps complaining despite being the aggressor that carries out numerous air strikes. It continues to bombard our country relentlessly, day and night, launching air strikes and missile attacks from within the Kingdom against various governorates and areas of our country. In its bombardment, it also targets civilian objects, bombing bridges in some areas and public telecommunications towers in several governorates, and even targeting the central prison in Al-Jawf, where it killed inmates and visitors, including children and women, without any justification whatsoever.

Who, anywhere in the world, can provide a logical justification for the Saudi regime bombing the central prison in Al-Jawf Governorate and killing its inmates and visitors? Who, anywhere in this world, can provide a rational justification for such an act? Is this not an obvious and blatant crime? Has any regime in the Islamic or Arab worlds condemned it? They have not done so, nor do we expect them to do so, because they have neither a human conscience nor an Islamic conscience—nothing. We do not base our positions on their support; rather, we rely on Allah: {‘And Allah suffices as a protector. And Allah suffices as a supporter‘}[An-Nisa 4:45].

The free position in the Islamic world has remained confined to the Axis of Jihad and Resistance, and to a limited number of free voices in various places. However, at the official level, the general direction is clear: There are those who have surrendered, those who work to serve the Zionists, the Americans, and the British, and those whose positions are shaped by political gains and material interests rather than by principles, rights, or just causes—positions that are far removed from any sense of fairness.

As of yesterday, the number of airstrikes had exceeded seven hundred and sixty. Is that not a large number? If Pakistan, Turkey, or any other country were subjected to seven hundred and sixty air strikes, would that not become a major issue? Yet they remain silent when the Saudi enemy and aggressor bombs our country, regardless of the consequences of its bombardment—whether it kills children and women, inmates and visitors of a prison, or destroys civilian objects, including communications towers and citizens’ homes, as it did in Dhu Bab. The Saudi regime even targeted civilians’ homes, forcing them to leave their homes or face death. Thus, its crimes continue to unfold: It has killed children and women, and we have many children, women, and other civilians among our martyrs. It has also targeted numerous civilian objects. Nevertheless, they remain silent in the face of all these crimes because, as the saying goes, ‘One who remains silent in the face of truth is a mute devil.‘ Indeed, they are mute. {‘Deaf, dumb and blind‘}[Al-Baqarah 2:18]—that is, they have lost the ability to speak, feel, understand, or recognise what is happening, and act only in misguided ways. Yet when Yemen retaliates, they cry out, claiming that those operations are disruptive. They become extremely agitated, and a huge commotion ensues.

Last week, the Saudi regime resorted to a grave falsehood against Yemen of faith, with the aim of distorting the truth, inciting others, turning them against us, and even seeking to change the very framing of what is happening by turning the issue into an entirely different one: It directed its vile, horrific, despicable, and contemptible falsehood against our dear people, claiming that they were targeting Mecca. We would willingly sacrifice our lives for it.

In the previous speech, we discussed the issue in considerable detail, refuted this grave falsehood, and clarified our position towards the Saudi enemy, whose actions in this regard have dishonoured and wronged Mecca and exploited its status as a sacred Islamic site. We do not regard Mecca as a Saudi emirate; rather, we regard it as an Islamic landmark belonging equally to all Muslims. The Saudi regime is not the exclusive authority over it, nor does it belong to it, and cannot use it as a stronghold against one Muslim country or another, as part of its political positions that serve the Americans, the Israelis, the Zionists, and the British. Indeed, it is an Islamic landmark, and we are responsible for upholding its sanctity and inviolability, showing it due reverence, and defending it.

And we, the Yemeni people, with our firmly rooted faith-based identity—expressed by the Messenger’s saying, ‘The belief is that of the Yemenites, and sagacity is that of the Yemenites‘—may well be among the greatest of peoples, if not the greatest of them all, in our reverence for and veneration of Mecca, Madinah, the Islamic holy sites, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and all the other Islamic sanctities. However, foremost among these are Mecca, the Sacred Mosque, and the Holy Ka’bah (May Allah protect it). This is because we have an authentic faith-based affiliation, firmly rooted in our consciousness and reflected in our positions, our principles, and our orientations. We are also the most devoted to Mecca and the Ka’bah, and the ones most entitled to support and defend them, rather than the treacherous, proxy Saudi regime, which possesses neither the principles nor the values that would give it any special standing in this regard over the wider Islamic Ummah. In reality, it is the furthest removed from all these considerations. In its takfiri doctrine, reverence for the sacred rites of Allah is regarded as polytheism and an act of apostasy. Since its establishment and its occupation of Mecca, it has committed the most heinous crimes in Mecca. These are historical facts.

People can examine the historical record: What did the Saudi regime do when it occupied Mecca? How did it occupy it? What crimes of genocide did it commit there? How many pilgrims did it kill? How many of its inhabitants did it kill through the most heinous crimes, in the takfiri-Daesh model—massacring children and women, the elderly and the young, and violating sanctities? What did it do to all its Islamic landmarks and historical monuments? Consider, for example, what it did in Ta’if, even before it reached Mecca—let alone what happened in Mecca itself. It killed and massacred even children when it stormed and occupied Ta’if; it killed women, and exterminated the inhabitants there. It committed all manner of atrocities. Historical facts are significant. It is important for people to examine and know what happened. Numerous are the assaults that the Saudi regime has committed against pilgrims over the course of time. Even if there were nothing but the Tanuma massacre—a horrific massacre, one of the gravest crimes, in which 3,000 pilgrims were slaughtered in a single place, at a single time—is it not one of the gravest crimes? Three thousand unarmed pilgrims from Yemen—from the Yemeni people—were completely massacred, and the Saudi regime still bears responsibility for this. And how many other horrific crimes the Saudi regime has committed!

The Saudi regime treats Mecca, the Islamic rites, and the Islamic holy sites as commercial assets to be exploited. It turns people away from them and charges extremely large sums of money in exchange for allowing Muslims the opportunity to perform Hajj and Umrah. How much do Muslims across the Islamic world pay, and how does the Saudi regime control them? The Saudi regime seeks to exploit the sanctity of Islamic holy sites for political purposes, in order to impose its influence across the Islamic world in a way that serves America, Israel, and Britain. It does not even have an independent project or independent orientations. Yet, it is the one that sought to curry favour with the Jewish criminal, the unbeliever Jeffrey Epstein, by presenting him with the covering of the Ka’bah in order to make part of it a carpet for him to tread on with his shoes, and another part to be used in acts of desecration during satanic rituals. The Saudi regime is the furthest removed from showing respect for the Ka’bah, the holy sites, Mecca, and Madinah. Yet it operates purely on the basis of exploitation. The Saudi regime forgets—and many Muslims and many governments are heedless of—the words of Allah (Glory be to Him) when He said, {‘Though they are not its guardians? Rather, its guardians are none except the pious, but most of them do not know‘}[Al-Anfal 8:34]. Indeed, most of the Islamic world today—including governments, regimes, peoples, and elites—do not know this truth, even though it is explicitly stated in a verse in the Book of Allah, in Surah Al-Anfal: that true authority over the sacred sites, over Mecca and over Madinah is a rightful authority approved by Allah (Glory be to Him) for those who are mindful of Him, not for the wicked, those who ally themselves with the Jews and Christians, those who bring prostitutes to entertainment events, those who commit the most heinous crimes against our Islamic Ummah among its various peoples, and those who target this Ummah as part of the conspiracies of its enemies against it. They are part of this, contributing money, using the media, exerting political influence—by every means.

They are heedless of the words of Allah (Glory be to Him): {‘Surely [We will punish] those who disbelieve and prevent [people] from the way of Allah and from the Sacred Mosque, which We have made for all men, whether they are residents there or visitors‘}[Al-Hajj 22:25]—{‘whether they are residents there or visitors‘}.

The role of the Saudi regime is characterised by oppressive domination and wrongful exploitation, carried out in the most egregious forms. It even exploits the pulpit of the Sacred Mosque in Mecca against the members of this Ummah, its honourable and virtuous people, and the peoples of this Ummah, including Yemen, the land of faith and wisdom, as described by the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F)

In our view, the Saudi regime is engaged in filthy and reprehensible exploitation that harms the Islamic holy sites. It acts as a bandit and has violated the sanctity of these sites. Since occupying these holy sites, it has committed the most horrific crimes—crimes that are truly appalling. Therefore, peoples must remain fully aware: They must not sanctify the Saudi regime simply because it occupies and controls the Islamic holy sites. Rather, independently of that fact, they must see it for what it truly is: an actor connected to Zionist agendas, to Jeffrey Epstein, and America, Israel, and Britain; an actor whose conspiracies have targeted this Ummah and who has been a partner in every Zionist conspiracy against it. The Saudi regime has played a major role in fomenting sectarian strife, seeking to tear Muslims apart and preventing them from adopting a unified position, even in support of the Palestinian cause. It has played the most negative and destructive role in this regard. This is an important fact.

In this context, a very important conference was held by Yemen’s distinguished scholars, who issued a significant statement. It is important for the Muslim world to be aware of that statement. There have also been honourable positions taken by Allah-fearing and independent religious scholars throughout the Muslim world in confronting the slander and falsehood directed by the Saudi enemy against our dear people in Yemen, the land of faith and wisdom. Many free people in the Muslim world—including intellectuals, cultural figures, media professionals, academics, and politicians—have taken honourable positions, which we commend.

Our dear people took to the streets in their millions on Friday to reject this falsehood and reaffirm their position of responding to escalation with escalation and blockade with blockade.

Shame and disgrace upon those who accepted and adopted that falsehood for the sake of political relations or material gains, or owing to grudges and animosities driven by negative and satanic motives. As we have previously noted, this cannot be overlooked, even in the future. That is, we uphold our religious and legal rights concerning this falsehood and all those who adopted it. Days go by, time moves on, and circumstances change. What they have done either out of favour towards the Saudi regime or out of hatred harboured by some of them towards this people, is no trivial matter. Allah said, {‘You take it lightly while it is [extremely] serious in the sight of Allah‘}[An-Nur 24:15]. The religious, moral, and legal responsibility involved in adopting such grave falsehood is immense.

What the Saudi regime is currently seeking to do is entangle others in its aggression against our people, particularly Turkey and Pakistan. Through Turkey, it is also seeking to mobilise and send the takfiri groups from Syria to Yemen, despite the fact that these groups stand by and watch as the Zionist enemy violates Syria in every conceivable way: occupying land, violating the honour of its people, abducting members of the Syrian population, killing, destroying, and setting up checkpoints. From Mount Al-Sheikh, just thirty-five kilometres from the presidential palace in Damascus, the Zionist enemy challenges the Syrian side, those groups, and their leader. It despises, mocks, taunts, and humiliates them in every possible way. Yet they do not dare to take a firm position, not even verbally. The Zionist enemy continues to violate everything in Syria and has reached the outskirts of Damascus, while they dare not stop it, impede its advance, or do anything at all!

In any case, we advise all those countries—Turkey and Pakistan in particular—even though we know that the positions of their peoples differ from those of their governments and regimes. We advise them not to become embroiled in this conflict in pursuit of political and material gains from the Saudi regime. The Saudi regime relies on the Americans, who are already its partners in all its crimes. They even conduct operations to intercept drones in Saudi airspace and participate in many other ways. Indeed, they are considering further options for escalation in coordination with the Saudi regime amid rising tensions. Yet we are people with a just cause. Regardless of the challenges, and regardless of who sympathises with the aggressor and the oppressor against our people and our country, we must recognise that this is the reality of our Islamic Ummah at this stage: Its entities, governments, and regimes sympathise with the oppressor. Their positions are guided by considerations and calculations that are far removed from the principles and teachings of Islam. They contradict the Quran, oppose the teachings of the Messenger (PBUH&F), and act in the service of the enemies of the Ummah.

Anyone who becomes embroiled with the Saudi regime will lose in every sense of the word. At the same time, they will bear all the moral, legal, religious, and humanitarian consequences of every crime committed against our dear people. What is fitting for these entities—whether Turkey, Pakistan, or any other regime—is to take an honourable stand alongside the oppressed Palestinian people, whose cause is an Islamic one, rather than stand with the Saudi regime, which is a partner of the Americans, the British, and Israelis in all their conspiracies against the people of this Ummah. Alternatively, they should adopt a constructive position aimed at ending the war and resolving the problem through fair solutions. For our position is just; our cause is fair, and we seek fairness. We do not put forward impossible or deliberately obstructive conditions. We say: Stop the aggression against our people; end this unjust and oppressive blockade against our people, and end the occupation of our country. These are fair demands in every respect, firmly established rights, and legitimate demands made on behalf of our dear people. Any party seeking to intervene should therefore play a constructive role.

As a Yemeni people, we have the right to enjoy freedom and independence and to benefit from our national resources—our oil, gas, and other resources. We have the right to enjoy our legitimate rights—rights that are internationally recognised as belonging to all peoples. These include the reopening of airports and the resumption of air travel; the resumption of commercial movement; travel for patients, stranded people, and other travellers; and an end to the blockade. That is why we stand for a genuine, major, and important cause. Thus, regardless of the challenges and suffering, our people remain committed to their legitimate rights and just cause. They remain steadfast in their commitment to the causes of the Ummah, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

Every day brings new developments concerning the Palestinian cause, placing a responsibility on the Islamic Ummah to take a principled stand alongside the oppressed Palestinian people and in defence of the holy sites, particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Israeli enemy has turned the violation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque’s sanctity, the killing and genocide of the Palestinian people, their displacement, blockade, and oppression in all its forms into even election propaganda—election propaganda! The criminal Netanyahu goes to the Al-Buraq Wall to promote himself as part of his election campaign, and other Zionist criminals do the same. Unfortunately, acts of killing and genocide are now used as election propaganda. This is how far things have deteriorated.

Instead of fuelling internal conflicts and becoming embroiled in them, thereby further escalating them, the Ummah’s duty is to work to support the Palestinian people and confront the Zionist threat that targets them all. With regard to such issues, it should work to resolve them through justice and fairness. We are ready to accept any fair solution. Our demands are as follows:

The Saudi regime must stop its aggression against us.
It must end its blockade of our people, because it is an unjust and oppressive blockade.
It must stop depriving our people of their oil and gas resources, as well as their other national resources, and cease controlling them.
It must end its occupation of this country. It is an occupying power that, through its Saudi officers and officials, directs all those operating alongside it on the internal fronts in the governorates it has occupied and brought under its control. It also interferes in the affairs of this country in every sphere.

We stand for a legitimate right and a just cause. Our priorities have always been clear: the major causes of the Ummah and the threats that endanger it as a whole. Our enemy is clear; our positions are obvious, and our principles are evident—we will neither deviate from them nor abandon them. Regardless of the suffering we endure, whenever the Palestinian people face a renewed phase of escalation, we will stand firmly by their side, just as we did during the operation of Al-Aqsa Flood—and even more than that. The same applies to any crisis affecting the Muslim world. We are ready, out of faith, religious conviction, principle, and morality, to fulfil our responsibility to the fullest extent of our ability. And we approach this issue, which concerns our situation in Yemen in the face of escalation, aggression, and blockade, from a standpoint that is religious, faith-based, humanitarian, and moral as well.

Our people stand on the side of truth and have a just and genuine cause—not an imaginary one. Our people are fully aware of their cause and the injustice they have suffered. They place their trust in Allah and seek His help. Allah (Glory be to Him) said, {‘And Allah suffices as a protector. And Allah suffices as a supporter‘}[An-Nisa 4:45]. Regardless of the difficulties and challenges, relying on Allah, exercising patience and perseverance, fulfilling our duty, and shouldering our responsibility lead to the outcome Allah has promised pious servants: {‘And the [best] outcome is for the pious‘}[Al-A’raf 7:128].

At times, events may be momentous, pressures immense, and suffering severe. Yet placing our trust in Allah, relying on Him, and taking the necessary practical measures in accordance with the divine laws lead to great results. For Allah (Glory be to Him) is the One Who holds command over all things, and to Him all matters return, as He (the Almighty) said, {‘Unquestionably, to Allah do [all] matters evolve [return]‘}[Ash-Shuraa 42:53]; {‘And to Allah are returned [all] matters‘}[Ali ‘Imran 3:109], and {‘And the [best] outcome is for the pious‘}[Al-A’raf 7:128].

I call upon our dear people to continue their mobilisation activities, their general mobilisation, their full engagement, and their heightened vigilance. The revolution continues to achieve complete freedom and independence; to reform state institutions; to advance agricultural and economic development and strengthen local production; to confront the blockade; to resist the aggression; and to build military and security capabilities and take action across various fields. This is your revolution, O people; it is your renaissance, movement, and your position.

What our dear people are doing, and what is taking place in Yemen, is not a matter concerning any particular group. It is not a ‘Houthi’ issue; it is the cause of the Yemeni people. It is the cause of a whole nation: the destiny of a people, the position of a people, the suffering of a people subjected to injustice, and the mobilisation of a people. This is the reality, and the world must understand it clearly. Anyone who chooses to ignore it will always find themselves on the wrong side and will discover that their path is misguided and far removed from reality.

We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah, have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are the Hearer of Prayer!
