Ibb branch of Human Rights Commission condemns the Saudi enemy aircraft’s targeting of Al-Dalil Bridge
The branch affirmed in a statement issued by it that targeting the bridge represents an attack on a civilian facility of vital importance to the population, explaining that targeting civilian objects and service facilities constitutes a grave violation of the rules of international humanitarian law.
It explained that targeting roads, bridges, and vital facilities directly affects the lives of citizens, by hindering their movement and access to basic services, and disrupting the movement of transporting materials and necessary needs, which doubles the humanitarian effects resulting from these attacks.
The statement held the Saudi enemy fully responsible for this crime and the previous crimes against civilians and civilian facilities and objects in various governorates.
It stressed the necessity of documenting these crimes and violations and pursuing and holding their perpetrators accountable, to ensure justice for victims and protect the rights of civilians and civilian objects.. calling on human rights and humanitarian organizations to assume their responsibilities in monitoring and documenting these violations and attacks that affect infrastructure and public services, and to work to ensure that their perpetrators do not escape accountability.
