Ansarullah Official: Saudi Arabia Using Old Footage to Repair Its Image in Yemen

Member of the political bureau of Ansarullah, Mohammed Al-Farah, said Saudi military figures and accounts were reposting old footage at the direction of Saudi authorities in an attempt to influence public opinion and restore the collapsing morale of the Saudi public.

In a post on his X account, Al-Farah said the recirculation of old footage was intended to create the impression that Saudi Arabia was mounting responses, engaging in battles and achieving victories in Yemen, stressing that the clips did not reflect any new military developments on the ground.

He said the material was being circulated to project an image of ongoing Saudi military activity in Yemen at a time when Riyadh had launched no new military operations that could substantiate the footage.

The Ansarullah political bureau member stressed that any actual Saudi aggression against Yemen would be met with a direct response, warning that any new military escalation would have repercussions deep inside Saudi territory.

The comments come amid heightened tensions between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, with Sana’a warning that any renewed Saudi military activity or violations of Yemeni sovereignty would draw a direct response. The Yemeni Armed Forces have repeatedly said they are closely monitoring Saudi military movements and have warned that any escalation could extend the confrontation to strategic targets inside Saudi territory.
