Mohammed Al-Farah, member of Ansarullah’s Political Bureau, delivered a strongly worded message to Saudi Arabia, stressing that Yemen’s sovereignty, resources, and national dignity are not subject to negotiation or compromise.
Al-Farah said Yemen’s wealth does not belong to any external party and cannot be treated as a bargaining tool. He also questioned whether Saudi Arabia expects Yemenis to remain silent in the face of economic hardship, unpaid salaries, and the destruction of homes caused by years of conflict.
Al-Farah emphasized that Ansarullah’s support for Gaza and Lebanon and its confrontation with Israeli and US aggression does not come at the expense of the Yemeni people’s rights and interests.
“Prioritizing the causes of the nation does not mean neglecting our people’s legitimate rights or forgetting the suffering inflicted on Yemen,” he said.
The Ansarullah official further stated that the patience shown by the Yemeni people should not be mistaken for weakness, asserting that their engagement in regional struggles has not diminished their determination to secure their rights.
He also argued that attempts to weaken Yemen through blockade measures and economic pressure would not succeed, saying that “free peoples cannot be brought to their knees by hardship, nor can their will be broken by conspiracies.”
His remarks come amid continued regional tensions and ongoing challenges facing Yemen, including economic difficulties, salary disputes, and the humanitarian consequences of years of US-Saudi aggression and siege.
