Foreign Ministry: Saudi regime’s attack on Iraqi territory flagrant violation of international law

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates confirmed on Wednesday that in a new act of aggression and a flagrant violation of international law, the Saudi regime has attacked Iraqi territory.

In a statement, the Ministry said, “The Saudi regime believes that, through its subservience to the Zionists, it will escape punishment for its crimes throughout the region.”

The Ministry considered this heinous crime further evidence of the arrogance and hubris of this criminal regime.

The statement emphasized that the Republic of Iraq, its valiant resistance, and its Muslim people have the legitimate right to respond to this crime, and that all norms, laws, and conventions grant Iraq this right.

The Ministry concluded its statement by saying, “We in the Republic of Yemen stand with Iraq in taking any legitimate measures in response to this crime.”
