Israeli enemy notifies demolition of homes in city of Qalqilya

The Israeli enemy authorities notified, on Sunday, the demolition of homes and facilities, including the headquarters of Beirin Village Council, southeast of Hebron in the West Bank.

The head of the village council, Farid Barqan, reported, according to what was conveyed by the Palestinian “Sanad” News Agency, that the enemy today delivered demolition notices for four homes and agricultural and residential facilities in the village of Beirin, including the village council headquarters.

He pointed out that the homes notified of demolition belong to each of Farid Barqan, Samir Al-Azazmeh, Abdullah Barqan, Sami Al-Azazmeh, and Fayez Al-Faqir, and the demolition was set to take place within a few weeks.

According to the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the Israeli enemy authorities have carried out, since the beginning of 2025, more than 538 demolition operations, targeting about 1,400 Palestinian homes and facilities in the West Bank.

In Qalqilya, Israeli enemy forces stormed, today Sunday, the southern area of the city of Qalqilya and besieged a house.

Palestinian local sources reported, according to the Palestinian “Wafa” Agency, that enemy forces stormed the city from its eastern entrance and deployed around the southern area, especially “Al-Nafaq” Street, and besieged the house of the freed prisoner Hamza Houtari.
