Leader of revolution congratulates Yemeni people, Islamic nation on arrival of new Hijri year 1448 AH
In a statement issued on the occasion of the new Hijri year, the “Prophet’s Migration” (Hijra) 1448 AH, the Leader considered the beginning of the year an important milestone in the practical launch of a calculated and responsible endeavor, carefully considered within the framework of priorities weighed with wisdom.
Sayyed al-Houthi reaffirmed the steadfast position against the enemies of Islam and the enemies of humanity, namely the Zionist Jews and their allies among the followers of their Zionist movement in the infidel West, foremost among them America and Israel, who openly and blatantly declare their intense and clear hostility towards Islam through their repeated insults against the Holy Quran, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and Islamic holy sites. This includes the insults perpetrated by the criminal infidel Trump against Mecca and the targeting of Muslims with all manner of crimes.
He pointed to the earnest endeavor to achieve an Islamic revival, to acquire the means of strength, and to build an Islamic civilizational model based on adherence to the Holy Quran, following the example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and drawing lessons from the great Islamic revival.
Al-Houthi also extended his congratulations and blessings to the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership and people, on their great victory against the arrogant tyrants of our time: America and Israel.
The leader of the revolution reiterated Yemen’s continued readiness to confront any escalation or developments in the current situation by the American and Israeli enemy, whether targeting the region, attempting to isolate Gaza once again, or any other arena within the axis of resistance, the countries of the region, or the peoples of our Islamic nation.
He called upon everyone to join the axis of resistance and to break free from subservience and submission to the enemies of Islam, who desire no good for the entire Islamic nation, as Allah has revealed about them in the Holy Quran, and as has been confirmed by facts, events, and daily occurrences on the part of the enemies.
The leader also called for “official and popular cooperation in our country to confront the dangers and challenges resulting from the comprehensive hostile targeting by our enemies against our people, including: their occupation of a large area of the country, their control over the national wealth of oil and gas, their violation of the country’s sovereignty and independence in all its forms, their blockade and comprehensive economic war against our people, their mobilization of extremists and mercenaries with the aim of killing and targeting the life of our Yemeni society, and all forms of hostile conspiracies carried out by the aggression coalition under American supervision and aggressive Saudi implementation against our people.”

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
On the occasion of the new Hijri year, I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to our dear Yemeni Muslim people, to its mujahideen stationed on the front lines, and to our entire Islamic nation. I ask Allah to grant our people and our nation goodness, victory, and blessings in this year, for He is the Most Merciful, the Most Generous, the Bestower of Gifts.
The beginning of the year is an important milestone in the practical launch of a calculated and responsible endeavor, carefully considered within the framework of priorities weighed by wisdom. It draws our attention to the importance of time, the value of each moment, and the opportunity of life, which must be invested correctly, in a manner befitting the Muslim and his great tasks and sacred responsibilities.
The history of Muslims is linked to the Prophet’s migration (Hijra); To be an inspiring school for them, shattering all walls of despair and frustration, strengthening their faith in Allah Almighty, and connecting them to the perfect role model, the guiding example: the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and to the Holy Quran, the great religion of Islam, and the supreme word of Allah, which elevates the nation if it adheres to it.
The Prophet’s migration (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) to Medina, and the migration of those Muslims with him, established a new era and brought about major historical transformations with the rise of the Muslim nation, the spread of the light of Islam, the decline of the darkness of ignorance, and the collapse of the tyrannical regime.
History, both before and after the migration, has presented a profound and crucial lesson about two societal models:
The first: Meccan society, which failed miserably and suffered a great loss; When he was denied the great honor of carrying the banner of Islam, embracing Allah’s message, and becoming the social foundation upon which the striving Muslim nation would be built—the nation through which Allah would bring about great transformations, freeing it from the filth and darkness of ignorance and raising the banner of Islam, its sovereignty, and its light—the grave obstacle facing Meccan society was its deep attachment to the disbelieving faction and the tyrannical, arrogant elite of pre-Islamic Arabia. This elite saw in the pre-Islamic era, with its disbelief, evil, corruption, and darkness, a guarantee of its continued domination and exploitation of the people. They saw in the light and justice of Islam a salvation for society from enslavement, a deliverance from unjust exploitation, and a rescue from oppression. Therefore, they considered Islam a threat to their base interests and set about fighting it.
The scourge of Mecca society that drove it to associate with those evildoers, and to adopt false and obscurantist standards to glorify and follow them, was the materialistic view that sees material capabilities and authoritarian influence as the basis upon which following is built, and not guidance, truth, or the great and noble morals by which man is elevated and human perfection is achieved.
Therefore—and according to their misguided and obscurantist view—they went so far as to nominate for the position of prophethood figures from the dregs of crime and tyranny, as Allah informed us about them in the Holy Quran: {And they said, “Why was this Quran not sent down upon a great man from the two cities?”} [Az-Zukhruf: 31]. Their stance towards the divine message was linked to their materialistic desires and ambitions, as Allah informed us about them: {And they said, “We will not believe you until you cause a spring to gush forth for us from the earth (90) or you have a garden of palm trees and grapevines and cause rivers to gush forth within it.”} [Al-Isra: 90-91], [And they said, “What sort of messenger is this who eats food and walks in the marketplaces? Why has an angel not been sent down to him to be a warner with him? Or why has a treasure not been bestowed upon him, or why does he not have a garden from which he eats?”] [Al-Furqan: 7-8].
[This is a] explosion. They also made excuses based on fears of the dangers that might result from following guidance, according to their perception stemming from their lack of trust in Allah Almighty, as Allah informed us about them: {And they said, “If we were to follow the guidance with you, we would be snatched away from our land.” Have We not established for them a secure sanctuary to which are brought the fruits of all things as provision from Us? But most of them do not know.} [Al-Qasas: 57]. Thus, they lost their worthiness to bear the honor of the message, which is a great honor, about which Allah said: {And indeed, it is a reminder for you and your people, and you will be questioned.} [Az-Zukhruf: 44], and they bore the burden The burden of disbelief, denial, and turning away from the path of Allah weighed heavily upon them, and their abandonment reached a terrible degree, rendering them incapable of faith. They thus deserved the divine threat, as Allah said of them: {The word has already been justified against most of them, so they do not believe} [Ya-Sin: 7].
They were the society that carried the banner of ignorance, fought against Islam, and opposed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) more than any other Arab society. They made Mecca a center of disbelief and a launching pad for mobilizing fighters against the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and the Muslims with him. In every stage of the conflict, they mobilized themselves, their wealth, and their influence against Islam, forging alliances with the Jews and others to harness all efforts and resources and mobilize all forces to fight Islam and strive to eradicate the Muslims.
In the eighth year of the Hijra, the divine promise of a clear victory and decisive triumph for Islam was fulfilled. The tyrannical regime in Mecca collapsed, the banner of polytheism and ignorance fell, and that society surrendered, becoming known as the “freed ones” (al-Tulaqa’).
The other example is the Ansar community, comprised of the Aws and Khazraj tribes of Yemen, residing in Yathrib. They were distinguished by their high values and morals, generosity, and courage, qualities that qualified them to be the cradle of Islam and the Prophet. These qualities were of the highest caliber, for which Allah praised them in His words: {And those who had settled in the city and embraced the faith before them love those who emigrated to them and do not find in their hearts any need for what they have been given and give preference to them over themselves, even though they are in dire need. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul – it is those who are the true believers.} The successful ones (Al-Hashr 9) were a community free from materialism, generous, patient, benevolent, and receptive to the building of faith. They loved those who emigrated to them. They were a community known for their selflessness, even in difficult circumstances, and free from selfishness and material greed. Thus, they attained the great honor of embracing the message and supporting the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). Allah named them the Ansar (Helpers), a divine designation, and this is a great honor.
They were the community that sheltered the Prophet and the emigrants, and within their ranks, the Muslim community and the Islamic state were formed. They overcame difficult times through patience, sacrifice, selflessness, and trust in Allah Almighty, under the leadership of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), until Allah fulfilled His promise of a clear victory, the establishment of Islam, the eradication of ignorance, and the supremacy of the true divine religion, as Allah Almighty said: {It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, even though the polytheists dislike it} [At-Tawbah: 33]. The result was the success of that community, and they attained the good of this world and the Hereafter, which is linked to steadfastness in this path. These qualities—which prepared them for the great honor through which success is achieved—remain essential in every era and for every generation.
Our dear Yemeni Muslim people, the Yemen of faith and wisdom, as described in the noble Prophetic tradition, are worthy of continuing to uphold these principles and values, embody these qualities, and carry the banner of Islam. They must confront the arrogant, dark ignorance of our time, a banner carried by America and Israel, and wielded by the Jews and global Zionism. This Zionism has been exposed by its crimes in Palestine and its aggression against our Muslim nation in Lebanon, Iran, Yemen, and elsewhere. News of its horrific atrocities has spread through the documents of the Jewish [Jeffrey Epstein]… and other sources. Reality has proven the truth of what Allah revealed in the Holy Quran about their wickedness, evil, criminality, tyranny, and the inevitability of conflict with them. It has also confirmed their aggression and hatred towards Muslims, their danger to human societies, and, at the same time, the sacred responsibility of Muslims to confront their evil and injustice and to repel their corruption.
In this context, it is the duty of Muslims to emulate and follow the example of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, may Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace, and to draw lessons from his great blessed uprising, and how he confronted all the forces of tyranny with all their capabilities, {Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah often} [Al-Ahzab: 21], and how the result of that movement of the Messenger and the Muslims was: glory, victory, and empowerment.
On this occasion, we reaffirm the following:
1- Our unwavering stance against the enemies of Islam and the enemies of humanity, namely the Zionist Jews and their allies among the followers of their Zionist movement in the infidel West, foremost among them America and Israel. These enemies openly and blatantly declare their intense and clear hostility towards Islam through their repeated insults against the Holy Quran, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and Islamic holy sites. This includes the insults of the criminal infidel [Trump] against Mecca. They target Muslims with all manner of crimes in every sphere, working to exterminate them, occupy their lands, obliterate their identity, and target their holy sites, including the violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the attempts to destroy it. Therefore, the responsibility that rests upon all Muslims is to confront their tyranny, resist their evil, and cooperate in this endeavor. For this reason, we reaffirm our Islamic brotherhood within the axis of jihad and resistance, and the principle of unity of fronts.
2- A earnest endeavor to achieve an Islamic revival, to acquire the means of strength, and to build an Islamic civilizational model based on adherence to the Holy Quran, following the example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and drawing lessons from the great Islamic revival.
3- We extend our congratulations and blessings to the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership and people, on their great victory against the arrogant tyrants of our time: America and Israel.
4- We affirm our continued readiness to confront any escalation or developments in the current situation by the American and Israeli enemy, targeting the region, seeking to isolate Gaza once again, or any arena within the axis of jihad, the countries of the region, and the peoples of our Islamic nation. We call upon everyone to join the axis of jihad and resistance and to liberate themselves from subjugation and subservience to the enemies of Islam, who desire no good for the entire Islamic nation, as Allah has informed us about them in the Holy Quran, and as has been proven by facts, events, and daily occurrences on the part of the enemies.
5- I call for official and popular cooperation in our country to confront the dangers and challenges resulting from the comprehensive hostile targeting by our enemies against our dear people. This includes their occupation of a large area of the country, their control over national oil and gas resources, their violation of the country’s sovereignty and independence in every way, their blockade and comprehensive economic war against our people, their mobilization of extremists and mercenaries to kill and target the life of our Yemeni society, and all forms of hostile conspiracies orchestrated by the aggression coalition under American supervision and Saudi aggression against our dear people. This necessitates concerted efforts, relying on Allah Almighty, trusting in Him, and placing our trust in Him, to strive to end the aggression, occupation, and blockade so that our dear people may enjoy full independence and freedom, benefit from their national resources, live with dignity and pride, be free from dependency and interference in their internal affairs, and achieve a great renaissance based on their faith-based identity.
And the best outcome is for the righteous.
