Taiz governor directs general amnesty committees in districts to implement President Al-Mashat’s directives

Taiz governor Ahmed Al-Masawa directed the general amnesty committees across the governorate’s districts to implement the directives of Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, regarding the continued validity of the presidential amnesty for those misled into joining the ranks of the Saudi-led coalition’s forces.

In a statement, Al-Masawa affirmed the local authority’s commitment to the Supreme Political Council President’s directives to activate the presidential amnesty mechanism for those deceived and misled into the ranks of the Saudi-led coalition, as well as for those who have abandoned the fighting and returned to their homes.

He noted that the armed forces are committed to ensuring the safety of those who do not obstruct their mission to pursue the Saudi-led coalition’s forces.
