Yemen’s Armed Forces carried out a military operation targeting Saudi Arabia in response to continued Saudi attacks and violations against the Yemeni people.
A military source told the official Saba News Agency that Yemeni Armed Forces targeted Saudi Aramco in Najran with a drone.
The source said that the operation successfully hit its target, adding that it was carried out in response to Saudi warplanes violating Yemen’s sovereignty and breaching the airspace over northeastern Sa’adah province.
The source’s account also framed the operation as part of Yemen’s broader policy of responding to Saudi military actions, signaling continued reliance on retaliatory operations in response to violations of the country’s sovereignty.
The Jizan refinery is a key Saudi oil facility, and its targeting represents a significant escalation in Yemen’s military operations against Saudi Arabia. The strike follows Saudi airspace violations and ongoing tensions over the naval blockade and the siege-for-siege equation.
